Gongsun Yao didn't recognize Tia. She had met Tia a few times before, but because she looked down on Tia's cowardice, she had never given Tia a second glance. The two spoke in hushed tones, appearing quite intimate. Gongsun Yao was even more curious about Tia. Edward was devoted to Julie, so how could he have fallen for someone else after only a few months of Julie's death?
Men's hearts are indeed unreliable; they're always looking for something better while eating what's in their bowl.
Gongsun Yao assumed that Tia was Edward's new lover. She didn't think too much about it. Julie was already dead, and she couldn't expect Edward to remain faithful to her. It was normal for him to find a new lover.
She smiled and walked over to greet him, "Edward, is this beautiful lady your friend?"
Tia saw her expression change and her heart race, worried that Gongsun Yao would recognize her. Edward looked at her reassuringly and shook his head slightly. Tia felt a little relieved. Edward replied coldly, showing no respect whatsoever. He now hated everyone associated with Julie. Gongsun Yao was Julie's good friend, and he didn't even bother with a perfunctory reply before turning and leaving.
Tia had just promised him that she would take him to eat snacks in Pingjiang Alley tomorrow. Edward was really looking forward to it. He needed to go back to the hotel to adjust to the time difference and get some rest so he would have the energy to play!
"Edward...I'm asking you..."
Gongsun Yao was unwilling to give up, but Edward walked extremely fast, and she couldn't catch up at all. She could only watch Edward leave helplessly, and couldn't help but stomp her foot in frustration. She hadn't even asked about Prince Dennis's recent situation. Gongsun Yao also moved from the hotel into the mansion. She got up very early, wanting to go to the hotel to find Edward, but as soon as she arrived in the lobby, she ran into Gongsun Lin, who had a murderous look on her face. She was startled and had a bad feeling.
