"My parents are waiting for me at the village entrance!" Ya Dan exclaimed happily.
Tang Yuanyuan quickly sat up. Her in-laws had arrived, and it wouldn't be right for her to stay lying down any longer. Looking out the window at the large group of people under the old elm tree, Tang Yuanyuan was dumbfounded. For a moment, she even had the illusion that she was the First Lady.
It's just going back to my hometown, why make such a big fuss?
"Father, Mother, eldest brother and sister-in-law, second brother and sister-in-law, eldest sister and second sister...you're all here!"
Tie Dan got off the car and exchanged pleasantries with the villagers. Tang Yuanyuan and her siblings also got off the car. Since the people outside were all elders, she couldn't be impolite. When she got off the car, she took a bag of Zhonghua cigarettes and asked Tie Dan to distribute them to the elderly, one pack for each person.

"The meat pie is so tall now, and the meat bun has grown taller too. Do you still recognize Grandma?"
Tie Dan's mother's heart was entirely devoted to her grandchildren. Roubing still remembered her grandmother and called out to her obediently, but Roubao didn't remember her at all. He looked at Tie Dan's mother with a blank expression and then looked at Tangyuanyuan, not knowing what to do.
Tangyuan smiled and said, "Call them Grandpa and Grandma."
"Grandpa, Grandma."
The child's tender voice was even more beautiful than the warbling of a nightingale, melting the hearts of the elderly couple. They were so excited that they didn't know what to do with their hands. Niu Dazhu rummaged around on his body for a long time and pulled out a delicate, emerald-green grasshopper that he had woven from grass. Although he was big and rough, he was very skillful and could weave many small animals.
"Thank you, Grandpa, it's really beautiful."
Roubao immediately abandoned the teddy bear and hugged the cricket tightly. Living in the concrete jungle of the big city, she had never seen such a little thing before, and the rural scenery was even more novel to her.
"Grandpa will make you little birds, puppies, and kittens, and take you up the mountain to play."

Niu Dazhu rubbed himself vigorously a few times. His granddaughter's dress was whiter than snow, and he didn't want to get it dirty. He carefully picked up the meat bun, which was fragrant and soft, a small lump of meat. He didn't dare to use any strength. He stiffly stretched out his hands, which was more tiring than plowing a field. Soon, sweat beaded on his forehead, but he felt sweet inside.
Iron Egg's mother glared at him jealously. The old man was quick; she hadn't even hugged him yet.
Thank goodness, the granddaughter doesn't resemble Tiedan at all; she looks exactly like her daughter-in-law—so pretty and charming, she's sure to win people's hearts.
