"They came out to play alone without any adults with them. I was worried something might happen to them, so I came with them," the old lady quickly explained.
Niu Niu shouted, "Even when Mom comes, I won't leave!"
"Why are you so disobedient? Move aside and don't disturb my work. There are so many other children who want to watch the seal show!" The trainer forced a smile and spoke gently, trying to persuade Niu Niu.
"Ahhh..." the little pig suddenly cried out, its voice filled with anger.
Niu Niu's expression turned serious, and she accused, "Seals don't like performing. They love the ocean. You caught it and locked it in such a small pool, and you even forced it to perform. If it doesn't perform well, it gets punished. You are bad people!"
"Waaah..."
The seal suddenly let out a mournful cry, and then the other seals followed suit. Although no one could understand what the seals were saying, they could feel that they were very sad, especially the children, whose senses were the purest and most sensitive.
"Mom, the seal is so pitiful, I don't want to watch its show."
"Let's release the seal back into the sea; it must miss its parents."
"Don't hit the seal, it's about to cry."
...
Children's hearts are the softest. Although they love watching seal shows, they now only wish that the seals could return to the sea, swim freely, and be with their parents and friends.
The trainers and safety officers looked embarrassed. They actually felt sorry for the seals, but they had to support their families. If they didn't do this job, they wouldn't have any money. Besides, seals are just animals. What do they know about sadness? Children don't understand anything.
"Little kid, don't talk nonsense. Seals eat and sleep well in the park, and they don't have any natural predators to eat them. The ocean lives in fear every day, has to find its own food, and could be eaten by sharks at any time. It's not as comfortable as here. Be good, listen to your uncle, and don't bother your uncle's work..."
The safety officer patiently coaxed them, saying that if they delayed any longer, their year-end bonuses would be lost. The use of their year-end bonuses had already been planned: some would go on vacation, some would enroll their children in tutoring classes... Every penny had been carefully calculated, and no unexpected events could occur.
Niu Niu remained lying on the seal and said loudly, "They have no freedom, they are not happy. If you were locked in a cage every day, unable to go out and play, and had to perform for people, would you be happy?"
The safety officer paused for a moment, then laughed and said, "How can you compare them? Uncle is a human being."
"Why can't we compare? In your eyes, seals are beasts, but in the eyes of seals, you are a beast too," Niu Niu mocked coldly.
The safety officer's smile froze, replaced by anger. This brat had no manners at all; she actually called him an animal. If there weren't so many people watching, he would definitely teach this child a lesson.
"Little kid, if you don't give in, I'm going to arrest you."
As the security guard slowly approached, intending to take forceful measures, Niu Niu's eyes turned cold. A thin silver thread appeared in her hand, usually wrapped around her wrist like a silver bracelet, but actually Niu Niu's personal weapon. It could be long or short and was very tough. Niu Niu had mastered it. She was naturally strong and could easily handle one or two adults.
"Ouch!"
The safety officer had just reached out his hand, not even touching Niu Niu, when he tripped over something and fell. All anyone saw was a flash of silver.
"I'm taking the seal back to the sea, and you're not allowed to stop me!" Niu Niu waved her silver hair again and shouted loudly.
