"Perhaps she feels that classmates are equal and that money shouldn't taint the pure friendship between classmates," Ye Qingqing guessed.
Ruan Yingzi sneered and said sarcastically, "Qian Manyu can't even fill his stomach, what's the point of talking about classmate friendship? When people can't even guarantee their survival, they have no right to talk about feelings. I'll pay, Qian Manyu will do the work, we each get what we need, and everyone's happy."
Ye Qingqing gave her a reproachful look, "Don't make yourself sound so mercenary. I know you just want to help Qian Manyu."
"No, I just wanted to take a shower before eating."
