The next morning, around 7 a.m., Fu Heng got up first. He wanted Ye Yunxi to sleep a little longer, but he woke up.
Ye Yunxi got up, dressed, and went to the bathroom to wash up. After coming out, she took out breakfast from her spatial storage. The two ate a simple meal and then went out together.
Ten minutes later, the two walked to the vegetable garden, where there were already people.
It was Chen Zhe and a few others who were willing to follow Ye Yunxi.
They greeted Ye Yunxi when they saw her.

"Hello, Mr. Ye," the group greeted in unison.
Ye Yunxi raised an eyebrow, nodded to Chen Zhe first, and then spoke to the others.
"No need to call me Boss Ye, just call me Yunxi."
Everyone nodded in agreement. "Okay."
Ye Yunxi looked at Chen Zhe and the others, took out the spiritual spring water she had prepared beforehand, and handed it to Chen Zhe. "This is nutrient solution. Add it to the water to water the vegetable garden. We'll get to work when Professor Hu and the others arrive."
Chen Zhe nodded and led everyone to get to work.
Ye Yunxi said to Fu Heng.
"You go to work first, I'll take care of things here."
Fu Heng nodded. "Okay, I'll be going now. Contact me anytime if you need anything."
After saying goodbye, Fu Heng went to work.
Ten minutes later, Dr. Hu and his team arrived, followed by a truck loaded with timber.
Dr. Hu saw Ye Yunxi and happily spoke to her.
“Yunxi, these are all things we asked the base chief for. Do you think this timber will do? I was thinking that since this is all land, it wouldn’t be good to use cement walls. Timber would be more convenient.”
Listening to Professor Hu's words, Ye Yunxi looked around the vegetable garden and realized that wood was indeed needed, which could be inserted into the ground to make it more sturdy.

After listening to Ye Yunxi's words, Professor Hu thought they made sense. So he instructed the others to move all the timber down first.

There were four axes. Ye Yunxi took one, Chen Zhe took one, and the other two were held by two men.
Dr. Hu and a few others measured the timber, dug pits, and then planted the timber in the ground.
For timbers that are less than 1.5 meters tall, nails are used to join them together.
Everyone worked together until after 11 a.m., and they had only finished less than half of the work. Now they were exhausted, thirsty, and hungry.
Ye Yunxi told everyone to go home for a meal and come back to the vegetable garden at 2 PM to continue working.
After saying goodbye to Ye Yunxi, everyone went home to rest.
After watching them leave, Ye Yunxi went home as well.
Ten minutes later, I got home, turned on the air conditioner, took out some iced water from my storage space, and drank several mouthfuls. Then I took out my lunch from my storage space.
I didn't eat much this morning, so I'm starving. I grabbed a plate of stir-fried pork, scrambled eggs with tomatoes, and a bowl of rice.
Fu Heng doesn't come home for lunch anymore; the research center has a cafeteria. She eats very little at lunchtime, just enough for herself.
After finishing her meal, Ye Yunxi took a shower and rested for a while before heading out to the vegetable garden around 2 PM.
Ye Yunxi closed the iron gate, turned on the electric grid with the remote control, and walked into the vegetable garden.
Ten minutes later, when they arrived at the vegetable garden, Dr. Hu and his team were already there.
Ye Yunxi looked at the surrounding walls that had already been completed and decided to work overtime tonight to finish them. She then told everyone.
"Everyone, let's work hard today and finish building the wall tonight before going home to rest. I'll give everyone extra food when it's ready."
Professor Hu and his team frowned upon hearing Ye Yunxi's words. They were too old to finish the task themselves. They decided to borrow some men from the base commander to help.

Professor Hu spoke earnestly and patiently.
Ye Yunxi thought about it and agreed. Professor Hu and the others were quite old, and they had been working with them all morning. It would be better to find some younger people to help, which would be more efficient. She said to Professor Hu.
"Okay, have the base commander call a few more people. We don't have enough materials, so we need to get some more. It would be best to call strong men, as girls are too weak."
Ye Yunxi wasn't targeting the other girls. She just felt that if the boys did it, they would be stronger and could finish quickly.

Professor Hu answered him happily when he heard Ye Yunxi's name.
After saying that, he ran to the side and made a phone call. He told the base commander the whole story.
Finally, the base chief agreed, and someone would go over with the timber shortly.
After Professor Hu finished his call, he walked back and spoke to Ye Yunxi.
“Yunxi, I spoke with the base commander, and he agreed to our request. He said that someone and some timber would be coming soon, and we should wait a little longer. Let’s continue working for a while longer.”
