After several men came out, they looked at Ye Yunxi and Fu Heng and said with smiles.
"Not bad, you even knew you were being followed, so you deliberately found a secluded spot so we could deal with you."
Ye Yunxi asked the man in front of her in a cold voice.
"We have no grudge against you, why are you coming to kill us?"
One of the men burst into laughter.
"If you have someone to blame, blame yourself for messing with the wrong person. He hired us to take the life of a woman named Ye Yunxi. This young lady must be Ye Yunxi."
Ye Yunxi frowned. Had she offended someone she shouldn't have? Could it be Aunt Liu's son? His wife had come to see me before, warning me to be careful. I waited for several days, but she didn't come, so I thought she wasn't coming back. I didn't expect her to come today.
Ye Yunxi gave a cold laugh.
"You must be Liu Dama's sons, sent by Liu Zicheng."
The man paused for a moment, then smiled and said...
"Not bad, young lady. You figured out who wanted to kill you so quickly. Why don't you come with me and let a few of us have some fun? I promise I'll let you go. Hahahaha!"
Fu Heng felt a chill run down his spine when he heard the man who had insulted him.
She took out a silenced gun from her spatial storage and fired at the man who was harassing Ye Yunxi.
The man instantly collapsed to the ground, unable to get up. His accomplices, seeing their leader beaten to death by the man in front, were filled with hatred, and someone shouted out.
"Let's all attack together and avenge our boss."
The other men grabbed knives and charged at them, but before they could reach Ye Yunxi and the others, Fu Heng shot them dead.
Ye Yunxi looked at the corpse on the ground, then turned to look at Fu Heng.
“Ah Heng, these people aren’t a big problem. The biggest problem is Aunt Liu’s son, Liu Zicheng. I want to take his life.”
Fu Heng knew about Aunt Liu's situation because Ye Yunxi had told him about it before.
He nodded and said, "We'll kill him tonight."
Ye Yunxi continued, "And then there's Hu Huiyi. We let her go several times before, but we didn't expect her to come and provoke us again."
Fu Heng didn't even hesitate. "Okay, I'll listen to you. Let's leave here first, it won't be good if someone sees us."
After saying that, he pulled Ye Yunxi away from the crime scene quickly.
The two walked along the road, not in the mood to admire the scenery, and quickly returned home. It was already past four in the afternoon.
After resting for a while, Ye Yunxi and Fu Heng had a simple dinner. They waited for nightfall.
It was past 11 p.m., a time when most people were asleep. Ye Yunxi and Fu Heng, dressed in black, drove to the residential area.
Previously, Liu Zicheng's wife, Zhang Jing, had given her her home address.
Fu Heng parked the car in a corner, and the two got out together. They quietly made their way towards Liu Zicheng's house.
The two arrived at a building in the residential area, went up to the seventh floor, and found Liu Zicheng's home on the left.
Ye Yunxi pressed her ear to the door and heard soft moans coming from inside. Her face flushed crimson.
She thought it was Liu Zicheng and his wife Zhang Jing doing that, when she suddenly heard a woman's voice.
"Brother Zicheng, didn't you promise to teach that bitch Ye Yunxi a lesson? When are you going to do it?"
Liu Zicheng: "Huiyi, my darling, don't worry. I've already sent someone to kill her. I finally found out that that bitch and her man were resting, and the two of them were shopping together."
That's when I sent men to follow them. Who knows, the men I sent might have already killed them.
Ye Yunxi's eyes widened. So the woman sleeping with Liu Zicheng wasn't her wife, but Hu Huiyi. She'd gotten all this so easily, without even having to look for the woman herself. She'd kill them all later.
Ye Yunxi turned around and whispered to Fu Heng.
"The people inside are Liu Zicheng and Hu Huiyi. We can kill them together."
Fu Heng nodded, then, as if remembering something, whispered to Ye Yunxi.
"And what about his wife?"
Ye Yunxi thought for a moment. "She's probably been kicked out by Liu Zicheng again, but I don't know where she is. No matter where she is, she wants Liu Zicheng dead. Let's make our move now."
Fu Heng nodded and told Ye Yunxi to stand further away. He would unlock the door, and they shouldn't wake up anyone around them, or they would be in trouble.
Fu Heng took the master key from his spatial storage, fiddled with it for a few moments, and the lock opened. He gently pushed the door open and turned to nod at Ye Yunxi.
Under the cover of night, the two quietly sneaked into Liu Zicheng's house and then gently closed the door.
Ye Yunxi and Fu Heng quietly walked to the door and coughed lightly.
Hearing the cough, Liu Zicheng and Hu Huiyi stopped what they were doing in fright. Hu Huiyi quickly hid in Liu Zicheng's arms.
Liu Zicheng hugged Hu Huiyi and warily called out to their surroundings, "Who is it?"
Ye Yunxi chuckled softly.
"What? Don't you recognize me?"
Upon hearing Ye Yunxi's voice, Liu Zicheng pushed Hu Huiyi off the bed and turned on the bedside lamp. He then saw Ye Yunxi and her man standing at his door.
Liu Zicheng pointed at Ye Yunxi and asked, his voice trembling.
"You...you're not dead? How is that possible?"
Hearing Ye Yunxi's voice, Hu Huiyi peeked out, only to find her beloved Fu Heng there as well. She was utterly humiliated, making a fool of herself in front of the person she liked.
Ye Yunxi then saw that the woman was Hu Huiyi, raised an eyebrow, and said to them.
"You didn't expect to be alive, did you? You hired someone to kill me, but we killed you instead. Now we're here to take your dog lives."
Liu Zicheng said, his voice trembling.
"It wasn't me, it was Hu Huiyi who stirred things up."
As Liu Zicheng spoke, he pushed Hu Huiyi forward.
Hu Huiyi was not wearing any clothes at the time and was desperately pulling the blanket over herself.
"No, it wasn't me, it was him, someone else killed you. Sister Yunxi, Brother Fuheng, I was wrong, please forgive me, I didn't know anything."
Hu Huiyi nervously pointed at Liu Zicheng and said to Ye Yunxi and Fu Heng.
Ye Yunxi watched their dog-eat-dog drama with amusement.
"Let you go? I've let you go several times before, don't you know your place? Tonight, no one is leaving here."
Ye Yunxi spoke coldly to Liu Zicheng and Hu Huiyi.
With a determined look, Liu Zicheng pulled out a dagger from under his pillow and aimed it at Ye Yunxi.
"Since that's the case, let's all perish together. Let's be buried with my mother."
Without saying a word, Ye Yunxi took out the silenced gun given to her by Fu Heng from her spatial storage and fired a shot at Liu Zicheng.
Liu Zicheng looked at the wound on his chest and collapsed to the ground.
When Hu Huiyi saw that Liu Zicheng was dead, she screamed in fright and huddled in a corner, too scared to move.
She didn't expect Ye Yunxi to be so ruthless, shooting Liu Zicheng to death.
