The next morning, Ye Yunxi and Fu Heng got up and had breakfast. They didn't have to go to work today; they were both taking a day off.
After having a quick breakfast, the two tidied up the house together.
Just then, the old merchant arrived, peering inside to see if the people inside had returned.
Ye Yunxi and the others were busy and unaware that someone was outside. However, Yunzi saw someone outside through the window and started barking loudly.
Ye Yunxi tried to calm Yunzi down, but it kept barking. So she went to Yunzi's side to see what it was looking at.
Unexpectedly, she saw the old merchant arrive. She immediately went out and called out to him.
"Grandpa, what brings you here?"
When the old man saw Ye Yunxi come out, he smiled and said to her.
"Oh, little girl, it's great to see you at home. I've been looking for you these past two days, but you haven't been home."
Ye Yunxi frowned slightly and then asked.
"Old man, what do you need me for?"
The old man clapped his hands and said with a smile.
“It’s definitely a good thing that you’re contacting me. After you asked me to buy jade last time, I told you that my friend also has some. I asked him, and he agreed to sell it to you. However, he wants you to come to his house to take a look. He has a lot of things at home, and it wouldn’t be good to bring everything out.”
Ye Yunxi remembered that last time, she had asked the old man to inquire for her, and the man had actually agreed. Going to his house wouldn't hurt; Fu Heng was there too, so she could take him along.
"Okay, if it's convenient for you, sir, please take my boyfriend and me there."
The old man said with some difficulty.
"He's not home right now; he's at work. He won't be back until tonight. I'll come back later to take you there."
Ye Yunxi nodded, agreeing tonight was fine too, and so she agreed to what the old man had said.
They chatted for a few minutes, and then the old man left. She returned home and told Fu Heng what had happened, and he agreed to go with her that evening.
When it was lunchtime, Ye Yunxi took out cabbage and tofu soup, braised pork, green pepper and eggplant, stuffed green pepper and meat, and two bowls of rice from her space.
After giving Yunzi chicken legs, quail, eggs, carrots, etc., and putting them in her food bowl, Ye Yunxi and Fu Heng began to eat.
After lunch, with nothing to do in the afternoon, Ye Yunxi and Fu Heng started cooking again, and then put all the food into their space.
They cooked until evening, leaving a few dishes outside and putting the rest inside.
The two people and the dog started eating dinner. After they finished eating and cleaned up the table and dishes, the old man came and shouted from outside.

The old man said they lived in the residential area and had walked there, so Ye Yunxi and the others decided to drive and let him sit in the back.
More than ten minutes later, they arrived at the parking lot of the residential area. Fu Heng parked the car and got out with them.
The old man led them with a smile to a building in the residential area and said to them.
"My friend lives on the fourth floor. Please come with me."
Ye Yunxi and Fu Heng followed the old man to the fourth floor, where the old man knocked on the door.
A minute later, someone came to open the door. It was a man who opened the door.
"Xiao Hai, is your dad back yet? I brought two guests over; they need to talk to your dad about something."
The man named Xiao Hai smiled and said to the old man.
"Uncle Wang, my dad is here, please come in."
The old man smiled and led Ye Yunxi and the others inside.
Once inside the house, he shouted loudly, "Old man, come out quickly, I've brought the person to you!"
Then an older man came out of the room and snorted softly.
"Why are you shouting so loudly? Do you think I can't hear you?"
The old man smiled ingratiatingly. "Alright, I was just a little loud, wasn't I? Look, these two are the guests I brought for you."
The woman came out of the kitchen, poured each of them a glass of water, and offered them some.
Ye Yunxi and the others took the water cups, but did not drink from them; instead, they placed them aside.
After looking Ye Yunxi and Fu Heng up and down, the uncle spoke to them.
"It's not that you can't buy my things, but it's not acceptable for you to come empty-handed."
Ye Yunxi was taken aback; she had forgotten to take the things out, so she said...
"We brought the food; it's in the trunk of the car. But we need to see the jade first before we can give you the food."
The middle-aged man snorted again. "How do I know you're not lying to me?"
Fu Heng picked up the conversation, saying, "You can have your son come with me to the parking lot and bring the things up."
The uncle's son nodded and followed Fu Heng to the parking lot to get the food. Fu Heng gave Ye Yunxi a look, signaling her to wait.
Fu Heng also had some grain stored in his space, so he could take it up there.
Ten minutes later, Fu Heng returned with the uncle's son, both carrying several bags of rice.
The uncle then asked Ye Yunxi and the others to wait a moment, and called his son to come into the room with him to get the items. When the father and son brought out the jade items one by one from the room...
Ye Yunxi knew these things were true; Xiao You had told her. She decided to buy them all, but she didn't know if it would be enough.
The uncle, panting, said after hugging the last item.
