When some people heard Ye Yunxi say that, they ran back to their homes to get kitchen knives, and anything that could be used to chop things.
A group of people then hacked at the pythons, slashing them several times until they cut open their bellies and pulled the people inside out.
The people who were pulled out were covered in the fluid from the snake's belly, mixed with stomach acid, which caused them to suffer extensive burns.
After Ye Yunxi finished speaking, she ignored them and continued to spray realgar water with Fu Heng. A large group of snakes were frightened by the realgar water and fled in panic.
When the realgar water ran out, Fu Heng ran home again, carried several water tanks on his back, and ran out again.

Li Yan felt relieved after hearing what they said.
"I'm glad you're all alright. A lot of snakes suddenly appeared in the base, so we led a group to fight them off. We just wanted to come and check on you. Now that I see you're all safe, I'm relieved."
Ye Yunxi asked Li Yan, "Captain Li, you're here. Have all the snakes from the base left?"
He Yidong answered quickly. "Most of the snakes have been eliminated by us; only a small number remain, and the rest of the soldiers are still clearing them out."

"Are those water tanks you're carrying? Are you using water to kill snakes?"
Ye Yunxi explained, "Yes, this is water with realgar powder added. We spray the water at the snakes, and they run away."
Fu Heng added, “There are still a few pythons here. They ate several people. We rescued them together with the people in the villa area, and we also drove the snakes away. However, the people who were rescued had snake saliva on them and were burned by stomach acid.”
Besides these few, many others were injured, and some even died from snake bites.
Hearing their words, Li Yan looked behind them and indeed saw several dead pythons and a ground littered with small snakes. There were also some injured people shouting to them.

Chen Zhe took Zhang Jing's hand without saying a word and walked behind Ye Yunxi to help clean up the floor.
Gu Qingqing stared at Chen Zhe and Zhang Jing with curiosity, as if she had discovered something new, and asked questions.
"Sister Yunxi, don't you think there's something fishy about Chen Zhe and Zhang Jing?"
Ye Yunxi followed Gu Qingqing's gaze and saw Chen Zhe and Zhang Jing holding hands.
Hmm! There's definitely something fishy going on between these two. They've been living under the same roof for a while now, and over time, they're bound to develop some kind of complicated relationship.
Zhang Haiyi gently tapped Gu Qingqing's head and said affectionately.
"Let's not worry about them for now. Even if something happens, if they don't tell us, we'll pretend we don't know. Don't go and ask them, or it'll make things awkward, understand? Okay, let's go help clean up first."
Gu Qingqing looked aggrieved and touched her head.
"Okay! Got it."
Ye Yunxi smiled but didn't say anything. This pair is quite interesting. Since they met, Qingqing hasn't changed at all, maintaining her innocent demeanor.
Zhang Haiyi is two years older than Gu Qingqing, but he acts like an old father educating his child.
