Chapter 160 Healing the Wounded 2

Those who were slightly injured were furious upon hearing the nurse's reply.

The man who had started the trouble earlier, seeing that he had not achieved his goal, continued to cause trouble.

"I think the hospital doesn't want to give us, the lightly injured, the medication; they want to hoard it for themselves. Those who are seriously injured, let them die. Does the base really care if a few more people die? Don't you all agree?"

"Yes, it's because you doctors are hiding the medicine from us. We're going to protest! Protest! The base hospital isn't saving lives."

"Protest! Protest! The hospital isn't saving lives!"

"Protest! Doctors don't treat us like human beings!"

Those who were seriously injured were so angry that their faces turned red and their necks bulged. They argued with them as if their lives depended on it, and they were almost about to start a fight.

The man who had started the trouble, seeing that he had achieved his goal, curled the corners of his mouth slightly.

Fu Heng saw the man who had started the trouble laughing, looked at him coldly, and warned him.

The nurse was now even more exasperated, almost to the point of tears. How could this have happened? She was just following the director's instructions; it wasn't her fault, so why was everyone blaming her?

Fu Heng couldn't stand it any longer and spoke to the troublemakers.

"Stop right there!"

After Fu Heng shouted that, everyone who was arguing stopped and looked at him.

After everyone stopped, Fu Heng continued.

"The nurse said that everyone, whether seriously injured or lightly injured, will be treated. It's just that the seriously injured will be treated first, and the lightly injured will wait. Please wait, we will definitely treat you, we won't leave you untreated."

The hand nurse looked at Fu Heng gratefully.

When the troublemakers saw that they had stopped making a fuss, they questioned Fu Heng.

"Who are you? What right do you have to interfere in our affairs? You're not a doctor. You can't just say whatever you want. Why should we listen to you?"

"Exactly, why should I listen to you? You're not a doctor."

The group of people then continued to chatter and criticize Fu Heng.

Even if Chen Zhe and Zhang Haiyi spoke up for Fu Heng, they would only be scolded along with him.

After Ye Yunxi finished bandaging the last person, she let Gu Qingqing continue. She wanted to see who was stirring up trouble and not to think that she couldn't hear them just because she was behind her. They were constantly criticizing her man and friends.

Ye Yunxi walked towards the place of the argument, pushed through the crowd, and looked at everyone with a cold face. They were still criticizing Fu Heng and the others.

With a dark expression, he walked over to the nurse, took the megaphone from her hand, and nodded to her.

Ye Yunxi picked up the megaphone, looked at them coldly, and shouted loudly.

"Shut up, all of you. If anyone says another word, our hospital will never admit him or his family again."

The man who had started the trouble, upon hearing what Ye Yunxi said, led the commotion again.

"Oh, so you think you can just refuse to serve us like that? Who do you think you are? Do you have any right to tell us what to do?!"

Ye Yunxi looked at the man who had started the trouble; it turned out this was the guy who had instigated the disturbance. She spoke coldly to the crowd.

"I am a doctor, and I have the right to say this. What? Do you have any objections?"

"Doctor, no wonder."

"That means they have the right to say that."

Seeing that no one was speaking up for him anymore, the troublemaker tried to incite them again.

"You're a doctor? So what if you are? You're not in charge of the hospital. Who knows if your words count? We're in charge of our injuries. We demand treatment first, we demand medication first. Everyone, let's all rush in and grab the medicine together!"

People were once again manipulated, speaking ill of Ye Yunxi while rushing forward to snatch medicine from the hospital.

When Fu Heng and the others heard that the group had started attacking Ye Yunxi, they quickly stood in front of her to protect her.

Old Ye and the other doctors also heard it, but unfortunately they couldn't spare the time. Besides the people arguing behind them, there were many people in front who needed medicine and bandages.

At this moment, they placed all their hopes on Ye Yunxi, hoping that she could stop all of this and prevent a cholera outbreak.

Ye Yunxi looked at everyone with a dark expression. Using her coat as a cover, she took out a gun from her spatial storage, raised it, and fired a shot at the ceiling.

People stared blankly at Ye Yunxi, who was holding a gun, when they heard the gunshot.

Ye Yunxi picked up the megaphone again and spoke in a cold voice.

"Anyone who wants to die, come on over, I'll send them down. Those who don't want to die, line up. Those who are seriously injured, stand over here; those who are lightly injured, line up in another line."

Don't try to pull any tricks on me; I'll kill them all. If you want to challenge my gun, feel free to come and try.

"We are doctors, and we have the right to decide who to treat first. It's our decision. It's not your place to tell us what to do. Any further objections?"

Li Yan was leading a patrol when he heard from one of his men that there was a riot at the hospital. So he led his men to the hospital entrance at a jog and heard a gunshot.

Li Yan frowned and immediately ran towards the crowd, where he heard Ye Yunxi lecturing them.

After Ye Yunxi finished speaking, he pushed through the crowd and came out to greet Ye Yunxi and the others.

Li Yan said to Ye Yunxi with a smile.

"Wow, Yunxi is quite impressive, holding a gun that stunned everyone present."

Ye Yunxi replied with a smile, "It's nothing, just teaching a few troublemakers a lesson. Why is Captain Li here?"

Li Yan smiled and didn't expose her.

“I heard from my men that there was a riot at the hospital, so I brought my men over. When I got there, I heard gunshots. I thought someone was shooting people.”

When Li Yan said this, he glanced at everyone present.

Almost everyone at the base knew Li Yan, and seeing him talk to the woman, they all showed expressions of fear. They were afraid Li Yan would drag them all away and lock them in jail. So none of them dared to breathe too loudly.
