Fu Heng was delighted to see Ye Yunxi using his storage space.
After Ye Yunxi packed her backpack, she led Yunzi and her dog to the sixth floor, took out the inflatable boat, and the two of them and the dog drove out of the office building.
More than an hour later, they returned to the residential area, went up to the seventh floor, got off the boat, and Fu Heng put away the inflatable boat. The two of them and the dog climbed the stairs together.
Upon arriving on the 23rd floor, Fu Heng told Ye Yunxi to rest early, as it was getting late. After saying goodbye to Ye Yunxi, Fu Heng went home first.
Ye Yunxi returned home, took a shower, and went to bed.
I slept until I naturally woke up and stretched.
I got out of bed to wash up and took some canned food, duck necks, and chicken breast from my spatial storage for Yunzi.
I ate something quickly, then went into my space to organize the supplies I had collected yesterday.
Yesterday I rummaged through everything – food, drinks, household items, everyday things – and piled them all together.
We started organizing from scratch, putting food and drinks in one area, daily necessities in another, and appliances in yet another. We also acquired a furniture company.
It was three hours later when everything was finally sorted out.
Then we went to the ranch, orchard, and plantation.
All the fruit harvested from the orchard was collected, sorted, and placed in the fruit section. All the planted grains were also harvested.
Five hours later, the animals on the ranch were fed and given water.
Exhausted and drenched in sweat, I took a shower right there in the room before coming out.
Looking at the empty house, Ye Yunxi decided to remodel the furniture she received yesterday.
First, there's the living room, with items like sofas, carpets, a TV, a coffee table, and air conditioners placed everywhere.
The bathroom only has a shower and a squat toilet, plus a sink, a mirror, and a cabinet for storing daily necessities.
Kitchen appliances include refrigerators, rice cookers, and induction cookers.
Each room on the second floor contains a double bed, wardrobe, air conditioner, table, and other items.
There are still some things that aren't available yet; we'll add them later. There are no space restrictions; you can come in anytime and stay as long as you like.
After finishing all that, Ye Yunxi left the space.
Knock knock knock~ I heard a knocking sound as soon as I stepped out of the space; it came from the stairwell.
Ye Yunxi cautiously picked up her Tang sword, walked to the door, and saw Li Xin standing there. She coldly stared at the person outside.
When Li Xin saw Ye Yunxi come out, she smiled and said, "Yunxi, you're here."
"What is it?" Ye Yunxi asked coldly.
"Yunxi, I want to borrow some food from you. My food was stolen yesterday. Could you lend me some?"
"cannot!"
Li Xin, unperturbed by the rejection, said, "What do you want? As long as I can do it."
"real?"
Li Xin nodded.
"Then slap yourself."
Ye Yunxi said with a half-smile.
Li Xin was taken aback, thinking that Ye Yunxi might want to vent her anger. "Don't go too far!"
"You said you'd do anything."
"Ye Yunxi!"
"You're deliberately humiliating me."
"What? You're only just realizing it?"
Ye Yunxi feigned surprise and gave the chicken leg in her hand to Yunzi.
"You! You actually gave such a good chicken leg to a dog? Are you crazy? Do you know how many people are starving to death out there?"
"I know, so what?" Ye Yunxi said indifferently.
"Ye Yunxi, you just wait! I won't let you get away with this."
"Then come on!"
It's not that I'm afraid of you; it's even better that you've come, as it gives me a reason to kill you!
After Li Xin ran downstairs, she discussed it with Jiang Ming, and Jiang Ming went to find someone to rob Ye Yunxi.
That evening, the people Jiang Ming had sent arrived. Jiang Ming led the way for them. A man named Wu Laosan and his men came down to the 23rd floor and knocked loudly on the door.
Hearing the knock on the door, Ye Yunxi looked outside warily. Oh, so that's it.
Just then, the walkie-talkie rang. It was Fu Heng telling her not to go out, and that he would handle it.
But Ye Yunxi was not about to sit idly by and insisted on coming out. Fu Heng had no choice but to tell her to be careful.
Ye Yunxi quietly opened the door and stood in front of the security door. The security door was divided into two layers, with the upper third consisting of iron bars and very small gaps, barely a finger's width.
A short while later, Fu Heng also came out.
Wu Laosan looked at Ye Yunxi and the other woman: "If you know what's good for you, hand over your food immediately, otherwise..."
Ye Yunxi picked up the Tang sword and slashed at the people in front of her.
"You talk too much nonsense!"
Seeing his men being hacked to death, Wu Laosan's brothers, enraged, charged forward.
Ye Yunxi and Fu Heng separated to deal with Wu Laosan's men, while Wu Laosan charged straight at Fu Heng.
Upon seeing this, Fu Heng picked up his gun and fired several shots. Before Wu Laosan could even shout, he collapsed to the ground.
Hearing the gunshots and seeing Wu Laosan killed, the other henchmen were terrified and ran away.
How could Ye Yunxi and Fu Heng let them escape? They quickly dealt with Wu Laosan's men.
Jiang Ming hadn't expected Ye Yunxi to be so fierce; she was no longer the Ye Yunxi he knew. Seeing Wu Laosan and the others dead, he also wanted to run downstairs.
But Ye Yunxi happened to see it, and Tang Dao flew in front of Jiang Ming, scaring him so much that he dared not move.
Without a word, Ye Yunxi killed Jiang Ming. Leaving him alive would only be a threat. Kill one, and there's another; no one can escape.
Ye Yunxi said to Fu Heng behind her, "These corpses are too smelly of blood here, let's get rid of them."
“Okay, I’ll listen to you,” Fu Heng agreed.
So they opened the window on the 23rd floor and threw all the bodies out.
After learning that Jiang Ming had been killed, Li Xin fled overnight. Even though the floodwaters had not receded, they could not stop her from escaping.
No matter how hard Ye Yunxi searched, she couldn't find Li Xin, and she didn't know where she had gone.
