Ye Yunxi and Fu Heng knew that Li Yan would worry about them, but they didn't expect him to be this worried.
She looked at Li Yan and said, "We're fine, everything's alright, just a little thing held us up. How about you? Are you hurt?"
Jiang Zheyu smiled and said, "We're fine, perfectly fine."
Li Yan nodded, indicating his agreement with Jiang Zheyu's statement.
He continued, "After the brothers come back from their inspection and arrest Han Dongxu, we'll go back to our camp to rest for the night before heading back to base."
Fu Heng nodded. "We definitely need to rest for the night; the brothers are all tired."
Li Yan and Jiang Zheyu chatted with Ye Yunxi and the others for a while longer.
Not long after, the soldiers who went to find Han Dongxu returned.
They said they found him in an alley, and that Han Dongxu was lurking in a corner, trying to sneak out of the base, when one of their brothers happened to see him.
Thinking it was his brother, he tried calling out twice, but seeing that something was wrong, he and a few other brothers went over to check, only to find that Han Dongxu was preparing to run away.
It took several brothers working together to capture him and bring him before them.
Ye Yunxi looked at Han Dongxu, who was being escorted by soldiers, her face full of guilt and resentment.
He angrily addressed Ye Yunxi and the others.
"Ye Yunxi, Fu Heng, don't think you can catch me so easily. Yan Luo won't let you off the hook. So what if you wiped out all the giant white worms this time? You still haven't caught Yan Luo."
You, you, and all of you, including me, are nothing more than pawns in Yanluo's game.
His chance hasn't truly run out yet. You'll all realize later that you're no match for him! Hahahaha, hahahahaha!
Upon hearing what Han Dong said, Li Yan asked him seriously.
"What other plans of Yan Luo do you know? Tell me, or you'll be sorry!"
Han Dongxu sneered. "Ha! You want me to suffer? I'm afraid you'd be the ones really going to make me suffer if I told you! Besides, how would I know his plans? If you want to know, go ask him yourselves!"
Li Yan was furious, but he couldn't beat Han Dongxu up. He still had to take Han Dongxu back to Wu, the base chief, and several other base chiefs for interrogation.
He can't afford to get into trouble here, or he won't be able to explain himself.
Ye Yunxi and Fu Heng frowned when they realized that Yan Luo had other plans.
Jiang Zheyu gestured to Li Yan not to be angry, as getting angry would be bad for him.
Then the soldiers were ordered to hold Han Dongxu aside until the other brothers returned, at which point they would withdraw.
Not long after, all the soldiers returned, saying that they had searched the entire area but had not found any trace of the giant white worm.
Finally, Li Yan and Jiang Zheyu led all the soldiers back to their camp.
After Ye Yunxi and Fu Heng returned, they found a place to set up tents and rest.
Han Dongxu was always being watched, so he wouldn't run away.
The next day at noon, they ate something simple and then began their return to the first base.
Two days later, upon returning to the First Base, Ye Yunxi and Fu Heng bid farewell to Li Yan and the others, saying they were going home to rest and would inform them of any further matters later.
After returning home, the group quickly washed up and went to their rooms to rest.
A week later, Han Dongxu was publicly interrogated and executed for colluding with evildoers to harm his compatriots.
The news spread far and wide, and the survivors cursed Han Dongxu, saying he deserved a terrible death and was a scoundrel.
But for Ye Yunxi and the others, that wasn't the most important thing. What mattered was how to prevent what happened next and find a safe place to avoid the tsunami.
More than a week later, Wu, the base commander, asked Zhou Yuan to notify Ye Yunxi and Fu Heng to come to the base building, saying that he had something to say to them.
After they arrived at the base building, they went up to the second floor and came to the door of Commander Wu's office. Seeing that the door was open, Fu Heng gently knocked on the door.
Commander Wu looked up at the doorway, saw a familiar face, and smiled.
"Xiao Fu, Yunxi, come in quickly!"
Fu Heng and Ye Yunxi walked in, smiling as they greeted Commander Wu and Zhou Yuan.
"Greetings, Base Commander! Greetings, Uncle Zhou!"
The base commander quickly asked them to sit on the sofa.
After Ye Yunxi and Fu Heng sat down, she smiled and spoke to them.
"Xiao Fu, Yunxi, I called you here because I have something to tell you. The ship I had built is almost finished, and I'd like you to go and take a look."
"Didn't you say you were going to look for suitable places to live? If you find one, please store the ship you build in your storage space, and only release it when needed."
After listening to what Commander Wu said, Fu Heng and Ye Yunxi discussed it amongst themselves.
"Aheng, what do you think the base commander meant by telling us to store the ship in space?"
"It should mean exactly what it says, that he wants us to keep it safe for him. If he finds a suitable place to live that the tsunami can't reach, then this ship will be unusable."
If a tsunami were to engulf the entire land, then everyone at the base could board the ship.
"If we find a place but don't store the ship in our spatial storage, then the ship the base chief ordered to be built won't be able to be taken away and will simply be abandoned."
"I understand. Should we agree to the base commander's request?"
"Wait a minute, let's see what the base commander has to say!"
Seeing that Ye Yunxi and Fu Heng remained silent, Commander Wu assumed they were in a difficult position and did not want to agree to the matter, so he spoke up in desperation.
"Xiao Fu, Yunxi, as long as you can agree to store the ship in your space when we relocate, you can make any conditions you have, and I will do my best to meet them."

We have no idea when this polar night will end, or when the tsunami will arrive. If we're too late, the people at the base might be swept away by the tsunami before we even relocate, resulting in no survivors.
The base commander was happy to hear that they had agreed, but when he heard about the tsunami, he began to worry again.
"Alright, then I'll leave this to you two. Let me know if you need anything, and I'll prepare it for you."
