Grandpa Lu angrily pointed at his grandson, Lu Hengyi, and said.
"You brat, Yunxi and Fu Heng have been married for over a year now. You're a year older than Yunxi, why don't you hurry up and find me a partner?"
Lu Hengyi sighed and said helplessly.
"Grandpa, I think being single is fine. What's the point of finding a partner? I can barely support myself. If I find someone else, won't we both starve to death?"
Upon hearing this, Old Master Lu immediately began to hurl insults at Lu Hengyi.
"You unfilial grandson, you're going to make me so angry! I'm so old, I don't even know when I'll pass away. I just want to see my grandson get married before I die. Is that wrong?"
Mr. and Mrs. Lu quickly comforted Mr. Lu.
“Dad, how can you say that? What do you mean by going away or not? We’re not old yet, we can live a long time.”
"Yes, Dad, don't talk nonsense, we'll all be fine."
Grandpa Lu was furious. "Don't try to persuade me. I'm already content to be alive. If I don't see this brat get married, I'll stop eating and drinking today and starve myself to death."
"Dad, what are you saying? How can you not eat or drink? Don't make things difficult for yourself."
Ye Yunxi and Fu Heng happened to be at the Lu family home to deliver medicine to Old Master Lu. However, when they arrived at their door, they heard that Old Master Lu was refusing to eat or drink and was going to starve to death.
Ye Yunxi and Fu Heng quickly went inside and said loudly.
"Grandpa, how can you not eat or drink? People need food to survive. You'll get hungry if you skip a meal. Now that our lives are starting to stabilize, you should take good care of your health."
When the Lu family saw Ye Yunxi and Fu Heng arrive, Old Master Lu quickly pulled Ye Yunxi aside and spoke to her.
“Yunxi, Fu, you’ve come at the right time. Tell me, this brat is driving me crazy! I’ve told him to hurry up and find a girlfriend, but he won’t. I’m so old, I just want to see this brat find a girlfriend and get married, but he won’t agree. He’s just trying to annoy me. Yunxi, please help your grandfather talk to this brat.”
Lu Hengyi looked at Ye Yunxi and Fu Heng with an innocent expression and shrugged at them.
"I think I'm fine on my own. I don't need to find a girlfriend. Why should I burden someone else?"
When Grandpa Lu heard this again, he was so angry he could hardly breathe.
Upon seeing this, Mr. Lu immediately began to berate his son.
"You brat, are you trying to drive your grandpa crazy? I'm telling you to find a girlfriend for your own good. Your grandpa is right. What if we're all gone one day? You'll be all alone and no one will take care of you. Besides, the Lu family line can't be broken with you. As long as you find a girlfriend, get married, and have children, whether it's a girl or a boy, the Lu family line will still continue."
Seeing that both Grandpa Lu and Lu's father were talking about Lu Hengyi, Ye Yunxi also offered her advice.
"Xiao Yi, Grandpa and Godfather are right. We can understand why you don't want to find a partner. You don't want to burden anyone, and that's true."
But have you ever thought about how sad and worried your grandfather, godfather, and godmother would be if you were the only one left in the Lu family? Have you considered these things?

He had thought that if that day really came and his family was gone, he would not live alone.
Fu Heng saw what he was thinking, so he spoke to him.
“Xiaoyi, I know what you’re thinking right now. If you really do that on that day, it will make your family very sad.”
After listening to Fu Heng's words, Lu Hengyi sighed after a long while.
"Alright, I agree."
When Grandpa Lu and the others heard this, they were delighted.
Grandpa Lu said with a smile, “That’s right. If you don’t have a suitable one, I have one here. Before the apocalypse, her family’s conditions were similar to ours. I also know that girl’s parents. They moved to the First Base a year ago and only recently recognized each other. After we talked, we learned that they have a daughter who is two years younger than you and doesn’t have a boyfriend either. So we agreed to introduce you two and hope that you can become in-laws in the future.”
Lu Hengyi didn't expect his grandfather to find him a blind date so quickly.
Mr. Lu said with a smile, "Xiao Yi, just listen to your grandfather. Let our two families meet and have a meal together so you can get to know each other better."
Lu's mother chimed in, echoing her sentiments.
Ye Yunxi and Fu Heng smiled as they looked at Lu Hengyi.
Two days later, the Lu family invited the girl's family over for dinner.
A pretty young woman sat next to Lu Hengyi.
After the meal, introduced by the two families, Grandpa Lu asked his grandson to take the girl out for a walk.
Lu Hengyi had no choice but to comply and invited the girl to go for a walk together.
The girl nodded shyly, got up, and followed Lu Hengyi out.
Both families smiled as they watched them walk away.
Lu Hengyi led the girl out to the other side of their villa, found a place to sit down, and looked at the girl as he spoke.
"Let me introduce myself first. My name is Lu Hengyi. This blind date was organized by my family, which I wasn't particularly happy about. But since we've come to meet, let me tell you now that I don't have any special fetishes or have a history of domestic violence. I have a group of friends who would die for me, and we've been fighting side by side for the past few years."
