After Fu Heng left, Ye Yunxi put the wood into her spatial storage.
I put some food out for Yunzi, afraid that I might oversleep like last time and Yunzi would get hungry.
He then went to bed to catch up on his sleep. After cutting down trees all night, he was exhausted and his back ached.
I slept until after 2 p.m.
Ye Yunxi stretched and yawned; she had slept very well.
The walkie-talkie crackled to life.
Fu Heng asked Ye Yunxi softly, "Yunxi, are you awake?"
"What's wrong? What's the matter?" Ye Yunxi asked in return.
"Do you know how to make dumplings?" Fu Heng asked again.
"Yes, why?" Ye Yunxi asked, looking confused.
"Well, this morning I wanted to eat dumplings, so I tried to learn from a video, but I couldn't quite get the hang of it. I was wondering if you know how to make them? If you do, could you teach me? If not, then I'm sorry to bother you," Fu Heng said awkwardly.
"Then wait for me a moment." Ye Yunxi thought it was something important, since she knew how to make dumplings.
Fifteen minutes later, Ye Yunxi arrived at Fu Heng's door and knocked.
Fu Heng opened the door with a smile and said, "Yunxi, you've come."
Ye Yunxi nodded.
Upon entering Fu Heng's home, one sees on the living room table some dumplings that have been ruined and some dumpling wrappers that haven't been made yet.
Fu Heng scratched his head awkwardly, "I'm sorry to have embarrassed you. I'm not very good at making things, and the house is quite a mess because of me."
"It's okay, let's tidy up and continue wrapping," Ye Yunxi said softly.
Fu Heng quickly tidied the table, with Ye Yunxi's help. In no time, the two of them cleaned up and put the dumpling wrappers and filling back on the table.
Seeing that there was no starch water, Ye Yunxi asked Fu Heng to get a bowl and put some starch and water in it.
I went to the kitchen to wash my hands and dry them.
Pick up a dumpling wrapper and have Fu Heng follow along. Use chopsticks to pick up a small piece of meat filling, place it in the center of the wrapper, dip it in a little cornstarch water, and then dab it around the outside of the wrapper. Put down the chopsticks and gradually tighten the wrapper until it becomes a beautiful crescent-shaped dumpling.
Fu Heng tried to follow Ye Yunxi's lead, but he always failed.
"Don't rush, take your time," Ye Yunxi said softly with a smile.
Fu Heng was not discouraged. After studying for a while, he finally wrapped one, but it was rather ugly.
Fu Heng said awkwardly, "I probably don't have the talent to make dumplings. I've been trying for a long time but I still haven't learned how."
"Isn't it wrapped up? Although it doesn't look very nice." Ye Yunxi laughed heartily.
Fu Heng was stunned by Ye Yunxi's smile.
It's so beautiful.
Ye Yunxi felt the gaze, shut her mouth, and stopped laughing.
He coughed lightly.
Fu Heng regained his composure, his face instantly turning red.
"Um... let's continue making dumplings," Ye Yunxi finally said.
Ye Yunxi taught Fu Heng how to make dumplings again, and finally, hard work paid off, and Fu Heng learned how.
After wrapping for a while longer, I finally finished wrapping all the dumpling wrappers.
Looking at the dumplings that looked quite presentable, I was as happy as a child.
This time, Ye Yunxi was stunned. She never expected that this man had learned something, and that his smile was so handsome.
Fu Heng was overjoyed to see Ye Yunxi looking at him like that.
"Yunxi, if it's convenient, please stay for a simple meal," Fu Heng said, trying to persuade her to stay.

Fu Heng smiled and said, "Then wait for me for a moment."
Ye Yunxi watched Fu Heng go to the kitchen, while she herself began to observe the layout of Fu Heng's house.
Twenty minutes later, the dumplings were ready.
Fu Heng brought Ye Yunxi a bowl of dumplings.
Ye Yunxi saw the vinegar and reminded Fu Heng, "Fu Heng, dumplings taste better when dipped in vinegar or chili oil."
"Okay, I'll go get it."
Fu Heng ran to the kitchen and got some vinegar and chili oil, then put them on the table.
Ye Yunxi watched Fu Heng running around and thought to herself that this man was not bad.
Fu Heng was unaware of Ye Yunxi's thoughts at this time.
Sitting next to Ye Yunxi, he picked up a dumpling, dipped it in vinegar, and put it in his mouth. The vinegar and dumplings were delicious. He then picked up another one and dipped it in chili sauce. It was spicy, and it seemed pretty good too.
Judging from Fu Heng's eating habits, Ye Yunxi thought it must be delicious.
I picked up a dumpling dipped in chili sauce and tasted it. It was really good; the filling had a perfect flavor, and the dumpling skin was chewy.
Fu Heng noticed a chili pepper on the corner of Ye Yunxi's mouth, implying that she hadn't reacted.
Finally, Fu Heng couldn't stand it anymore and took the chili pepper off Ye Yunxi's lips.
Ye Yunxi was startled by Fu Heng's action. She froze for a moment, her mind went blank, and finally she blushed.
Fu Heng looked at the blushing beauty and a slight smile played on his lips.
Startled, Ye Yunxi didn't dare linger and ran home.
She pretended not to hear Fu Heng's shouts behind her.
Back home, Ye Yunxi finally realized what had happened and angrily berated herself: "Am I an idiot? Why did I come back?"
She gently patted her cheek. What was there to be nervous about? Why was she blushing? It wasn't like she'd never seen the world before.
Ye Yunxi decided to stop thinking about these things and pretend that nothing had happened.
Yunzi tilted her head and looked at her human, wondering, "What's he doing? Why is he slapping himself? Is he sick?"
Ye Yunxi saw Yunzi looking at her, patted the dog's head and asked, "Are you hungry? I'll get you something to eat right away."
I gave Yunzi some food, and I also took some for myself. I had only eaten one thing while busy at Fu Heng's house, and now my stomach was growling with hunger.
After a quick dinner, I took a shower and lay in bed. I took out my tablet and started watching TV. I don't know how long I watched, but then I got sleepy, tossed the tablet aside, and went to sleep hugging Yunzi.
