The mother and daughter not only bought food specially prepared by the park staff, but also took out the fruit that Chen Hong carried with her and fed it to the monkeys.
There are quite a few monkeys here, especially the ring-tailed lemurs that kept chasing after the mother and daughter after getting some fruit. If the staff hadn't intervened, they might have taken them home.
The mother and daughter exited through the Monkey Mountain Glass Bridge, returned to the predator area parking lot, retrieved their car, and headed straight for the next bear park parking lot.
From here, we walked to the Bear Park to see the bears, and then went to the nearby Giant Panda Pavilion to see the national treasure, the giant panda.
We also visited the African section, the Eden Garden, and the rare monkey area, and then walked past the reptile house and the squirrel park.
The son lingered in the squirrel enclosure for quite a while. He was so enamored with the cuteness and intelligence of the squirrels that he couldn't put them down. If Chen Hong hadn't stopped him, he would have fed the squirrels until his stomach burst!
