Chapter 190 A Little Sweetheart Can't Be Reliable

"Old Yu, why are you carrying the baby around like that? This child will be hard to soothe in the future. He'll start making a fuss if you don't walk around him."

You've spoiled your good child rotten! If he's well-fed and doesn't need to pee or poop, just let him lie in his crib and play by himself!

"The child just cried for a long time, I dare not let him cry anymore. Little boys are prone to inguinal hernias, and they will suffer a lot if that happens."

Liu Lan's mother gave her a "you're lying" look: "Don't lie to me, she has a hernia because her uterus wasn't properly developed in the womb, so her intestines bulge out as soon as she strains."

What does this have to do with crying? Doctors say that crying is good for a child's lungs. Anyway, you guys are trying to pin everything on me, saying that I scared the child into tears.

I'm not a wolf from the mountains; I'm not that easy to scare a child. They always bully me because I'm uneducated, and they blame me for everything.

Neither Old Man Yu nor Liu Lan responded to her comment. Once they did, it would lead to endless arguments. Having eaten a hundred beans, Old Man Yu was already experienced with this.

The only way is to pretend you don't hear or hear anything she says. Just act like she doesn't exist.

Liu Lan has over twenty years of experience in struggles. She didn't respond, quickly finished her meal, pushed the bowl away, washed her hands, and took the child.

"Dad, you guys go eat. When you go grocery shopping this morning, stop by the baby store and buy a pack of size S diapers and a pack of baby wipes. The brand I have by my bed will do."

While eating, Old Man Yu agreed, "I recognize that brand, I won't buy the wrong one."

If there's anything you want to eat, I'll buy it for you. I heard eel is quite nutritious, so I'll go to the market later and see if I can find any to cook for you!

Back in my hometown, we could eat any fish we wanted from the sea, and cooking wouldn't be this difficult!

Although Old Man Yu meant no harm and Liu Lan's mother listened without paying attention, Liu Lan's heart was in turmoil: if it weren't for her irresponsible mother causing trouble, she wouldn't be unable to eat meat anymore!

The thought of meat conjured up images of red and white clumps of minced meat. "Ugh, ugh, ugh," Liu Lan vomited in the living room before she could even put her child down.

The breakfast she had just eaten gushed out like a raging torrent. Although she subconsciously tilted her head, some of it still landed on the baby's blanket.

Even her slippers and trouser legs were splattered with it. Neither Old Man Yu nor Liu Lan's mother expected it; there was absolutely no warning. How could she suddenly vomit while they were talking?

Liu Lan's mother stepped forward and patted her daughter's back: "Old Yu, was breakfast undercooked? Did the child not like it?"

Old Man Yu didn't say anything, but stepped forward and took the child from his daughter-in-law's arms.

"Liu Lan, quickly pour some warm water to rinse your mouth. Do you still feel like vomiting? I'll go change the baby's blanket. If you can't, you change your clothes and we'll go to the hospital."

Old Yu carried the child into his son's bedroom, found a swaddle blanket and changed the baby. Fortunately, Liu Lan turned to the side, so only a little bit of vomit landed on the swaddle blanket and didn't splash onto the child.

Little Duoduo opened his eyes and glanced at his grandfather. Being fussed over and having his blanket changed didn't affect his sleep.

I probably cried too much this morning and I'm tired now. I closed my eyes and fell asleep again.

Old Man Yu didn't put the child down either; he carried Yu Duoduo into his room.

"Liu Lan, I'll watch the baby. You should quickly wash up and change your clothes! I'll stay home with the baby. Let your mother go to the hospital with you. You can't keep vomiting like this!"

Liu Lan rinsed her mouth and then realized what was happening. "It's nothing, I think I smelled something unpleasant."

It's alright now, Mom. Don't just stand there. Wipe up what you vomited with toilet paper and throw it in the trash can. Then mop the floor a few more times.

I'm going to change my clothes; the smell is awful, I can't stand it anymore!

"Okay, okay, I'll get ready right away. You know, a perfectly healthy person like you has been through so much trouble after having a baby."

"If Yu Duoduo grows up to be unfilial, even if you don't punish him, I'll punish him for you!"

Liu Lan: What does this have to do with the child? Shouldn't the child be the one getting a beating?

Liu Lan went back to her room, closed the door, changed her clothes, and went back to bed while her father-in-law was watching the child.

When Liu Lan's mother arrived at the door, she pushed it open to ask Liu Lan if she wanted to eat. Seeing that her daughter was asleep, she tiptoed back to the living room and carefully wiped the floor tiles several times.

She quickly ate breakfast; after a busy morning, she was starving.

After finishing the meal, I cleared the dishes and chopsticks from the table into the kitchen, put them in the sink, and even kindly filled them with water to soak them, so they wouldn't be dry when Lao Yu washed the dishes later.

That old man is always badmouthing others. We agreed that grocery shopping, cooking, and cleaning would all be his responsibilities, but he's so cunning. He wouldn't let go of the child and made his daughter arrange for him to do all the work.

This is your house, not mine. I'm helping out at your house, and you're comparing yourself to others who do more housework? How can you be so shameless?

That damn Liu Lan is the same. After getting married, she became arrogant and turned against her husband, sucking up to her father-in-law and other men while ruthlessly mistreating her own mother!

No wonder there's an old saying that "girls are more outgoing." This little darling is really unreliable. We still have to rely on our son. In the future, we'll leave all our money to him and not give this brat a single penny.

Sigh! Yu Hai isn't home, so this daughter has to wash her own clothes. She's really unlucky; she doesn't get any help from her daughter, but instead has to work like a slave for her.

She's already washed two batches of clothes for her and her son since she got up this morning.

That brat is so troublesome. She won't let us use the washing machine for her and the children's clothes; we have to wash them by hand. She hasn't hand-washed any clothes since we got a washing machine.

They even throw their shoes into the washing machine and let it wash automatically. None of the family members have any illnesses, and they can still eat and sleep well, and are full of energy.

Despite her meticulousness, all three members of her family were pale, thin, and sickly, clearly people who were frequently ill and had weak immune systems.

The old saying goes, "Eating something dirty won't make you sick." If you can eat dirty food, then what about clothes?
