The two rushed to the center of the commotion, and the scene before them made Mou Xuan's heart sink.
Inside the meeting room, the normally orderly meeting was now in chaos. The members were like ants in a boiling pot, and the buzzing noise almost blew the roof off.
The air was filled with tension and oppression, making it almost hard to breathe.
Mou Xuan stood in the middle of the conference room with a frown on his face, his expression so gloomy that it seemed as if water could drip out of it.
"What is going on?" He growled. His voice was not loud, but it carried an unquestionable majesty.
The noise subsided slightly, and everyone looked at him with complicated expressions, some puzzled, some dissatisfied, and even...
hostility?
"Boss Mou, you're here at last! Look at what a mess the base is in now." A burly man with a full beard stood up. He was the civilian representative eight.
He pointed at the mess around him and said excitedly, "Supplies are not distributed evenly. We brothers who have gone through life and death together can't even have a full meal. Why?!"
"That's right! Why can some people eat delicious food and drink spicy drinks, while we can only eat dry buns?!" Opinion leader Nine also stood up to support Eight. He was thin, but his voice was loud and very inciting. "Boss Mou, you must give us an explanation!"
Mou Xuan's gaze swept across the two of them, his sharp eyes seemed to be able to see through their thoughts.

He walked out with a smirk, but his eyes were staring at Mou Xuan like a poisonous snake, as if looking for an opportunity to bite back.
"Boss Mou, what you said is just my concern for everyone!" Lu Conspiracy said hypocritically, with a hint of sarcasm in his tone, "Everyone is hungry, and I feel bad too!"
Mou Xuan sneered and was too lazy to talk nonsense with him.
He closed his eyes slightly, and his time ability was quietly activated.
He recalled the scenes of the past few days, and the comings and goings of people in the base flashed through his mind quickly like a movie.
Soon, he discovered the trick - Lu the Conspirator frequently went in and out of the material warehouse, and every time he had a sneaky conversation with the fat and big-eared material manager Qi.
There is indeed something wrong with these two people!

"People like this should be kicked out of the base!"
The words of Material Manager Qi were like lighting a powder keg, and the conference room instantly exploded.
Those who originally had a glimmer of hope for Mou Xuan were now all furious and began to blame Mou Xuan.
The atmosphere in the meeting room became extremely tense. The air seemed to freeze, making people feel suffocated.
