Chapter 350 Eve of the Lunar New Year
The Su residence.
Since General Su returned to his residence a year ago, he has been indulging in nightly revelry, with beauties constantly attending to him. General Su has been served by others every day, and his body is already exhausted, but he still does not know how to restrain himself.
He had indulged in excessive sexual activity, and his eyes were sunken; he was no longer as strong and vigorous as he had been a year ago.
Aunt Liu stayed in Shengjing to take care of Su Dehai, but by this year, Su Dehai had long forgotten about her, and even forgot his promise to let her daughter enter the palace for the imperial concubine selection.
Hearing the sounds coming from the room, Aunt Liu couldn't help but cover her ears and mutter to herself, "Shameless."
After scolding her, he swayed his willow-like waist and walked away. Unexpectedly, at this moment, a hand reached out from the side room in the corridor and pulled her in. Once inside, the man hugged Aunt Liu and began to kiss her.
Aunt Liu naturally recognized who the man was, and she lowered her guard, closing her eyes to enjoy his teasing.
Only after the man had pinned her to the ground and taken advantage of her did Aunt Liu lose interest and begin to dress, still feeling unsatisfied.
She stood up and pulled her clothes together. "Second Master, you're not afraid of being discovered by Second Madam if you come to see me."
"She's not as delicate as Liu'er. I can choose whoever I want, and she has no right to interfere. Besides, didn't I come to keep you company because I knew Liu'er was lonely at night?" Master Su had always been an official in the capital. He wasn't very capable and his official position wasn't high, but he lived a very good life. At least the Su family was never short of money, so it didn't matter whether he was an official or not.
Aunt Liu deliberately said, "Since Second Master is not afraid of Second Madam, why not just marry Liu'er to be the second wife?"
Second Master Su knew she was joking; he would never dare to marry his elder brother's woman.
Master Su changed the subject, "The old lady is going back to Shengjing for the New Year this year, so the Su family is going to have a lively New Year."
"Will the First Madam come back too?" Master Su said again. "If the eldest sister-in-law comes back, will all those women in the eldest brother's courtyard have to be sent away?"
Aunt Liu affirmed, "No, they're all used to it. The First Madam is used to it too. She doesn't dare to interfere with the Master at all, unlike you, who acts like a mouse before a cat when you see the Second Madam."
Master Su seemed intrigued. “Everyone says that my elder brother is having a great time on the frontier. But I don’t know exactly how. I rarely leave the capital. The journey is too far, and I can’t stand the wind and sand on the frontier.”
Aunt Liu said, "The inner quarters of the Su family mansion are far inferior to the lavish feasts the master indulges in on the frontier..."
After hearing this, Master Su also wanted to see it for himself, saying that he would go next year.
Just then, the Second Madam's voice rang out from outside the door.
Master Su pulled up his pants and hurriedly looked for a place to hide, but Aunt Liu was unhurried. Wasn't she afraid of the Second Madam? What a shameless bastard who dares to do something but doesn't dare to admit it.
Aunt Liu straightened her clothes, opened the door, and walked out. Upon seeing the person in front of her, she bowed to the Second Madam and said, "What wind blew the Second Madam to this side of the main courtyard?"
The second wife stared intently inside, asking, "Is Su Dequan inside?"
"Ah! Second Madam is looking for Second Master, but I haven't seen him."
The maidservant beside the second mistress said, "This servant saw the second master coming towards the first house."
Seeing her disheveled hair, and remembering how Aunt Liu and Su Dequan usually exchanged flirtatious glances, the second madam was furious. She shouted inside, "Su Dequan, come out here! I know you're in there!" In the year or so since the eldest master returned to the capital, Aunt Liu had moved in, and Su Dequan had become involved with her again.
The second wife felt only hatred, as she was caught off guard.
No matter how much she called, Su Dequan didn't come out. Aunt Liu blocked the door again, saying, "What are you doing, Second Madam, howling like a ghost in the main house so late at night? You're disturbing my master. You won't be able to explain this to him!"
"Hand over Su Dequan to me and I'll leave."
"I haven't even seen the person, how am I supposed to hand them over to the Second Madam?" Aunt Liu denied it to the death.
Just then, a maid ran over and said, "The Second Master isn't in the main courtyard; he's back."
Upon hearing this, the second wife looked somewhat embarrassed. "Since my husband Dequan has returned, then I will not disturb him any longer."
After saying that, she turned and left. Aunt Liu glanced into the room and thought to herself: When did Second Master Su go back? He really slipped away quickly.
So, Aunt Liu didn't go back into the house, and instead swayed her willow-like waist as she left.
Only when there was no more noise outside did Second Master Su cautiously peek out from inside, muttering to himself, "That tigress didn't make a scene today. I'm going to go see what my elder brother does all day in his room. He's getting on in years; he should take care of his health!"
No one knew that the Thousand-Faced Gentleman had entered the Su residence disguised as Su Dequan.
Half a month later, Madam Su led the Su family back to their ancestral home in Shengjing. The second branch of the Su family led the entire household to the gate to welcome them.
Madam Su stepped off the carriage, holding a dragon-headed cane bestowed by the emperor. She glanced around and asked coldly, "Where did the Dehai people go?"
Second Master Su hurriedly stepped forward, "Reporting to the old lady, my elder brother is in the main courtyard. He has recently caught a cold and is unable to come out for fear that the cold will worsen."
He hadn't seen his older brother for a long time, but when he saw him that night, his brother seemed like a completely different person. His body couldn't hold on anymore, so he suddenly collapsed. He didn't know how many aphrodisiacs he had taken and how much he had indulged in.
Now he doesn't dare to tell the truth anymore.
Upon hearing that her husband was ill, the First Madam feigned concern and asked, "How did you fall ill, Master? How have you been taking care of him, Concubine Liu?"
Aunt Liu stood to one side and glanced at the crowd again. Seeing her daughter standing obediently and sensibly with the girls, she said respectfully, "Madam knows the master's temper. I also want to serve the master, but I am not as good as those young girls."
Aunt Liu wasn't very old, only thirty years old. After spending a long time with Su Dehai, the novelty of the man wore off.
Seeing them whispering, Madam Su said in a deep voice, "I haven't seen your husband in a long time, you should go now."
"Yes, thank you, Madam." The First Madam bowed and followed Concubine Liu to the main courtyard.
Madam Su hadn't expected that the moment she saw her husband, her eyes would well up with tears. "How did you become like this, sir?" Was this still the great general who led troops into battle?
Over here, Madam Su said in a deep voice, "I originally wanted to come back for the New Year, but I also received an invitation from His Majesty in the palace to spend New Year's Eve there. So I won't be having New Year's Eve dinner at home this year. Just do what everyone does in previous years."
