Mother Qin brewed a cup of tea and brought it to Gu Yunran, saying to her, "When you first meet an elder in the family, you should offer them tea."
Gu Yunran nodded and reached out to take the cup, but as soon as she touched the cup, she felt a burning sensation. This boiling water... could burn her skin off.
Gu Yunran hurriedly tried to retract her hand, but unexpectedly, Mother Qin suddenly cried out, "Ouch!"

As she spoke, she held Qin's mother's hand tightly. The blisters that had just appeared burst, and the salt water seeped into the ulcerated skin. The pain made Qin's mother faint.
"Mother Qin, what's wrong with you?" Gu Yunran was so frightened that her face turned pale. She looked at Qin pitifully, "Auntie..."
Qin was very angry. This special cup of tea was originally prepared for Gu Yunran, but who knew that it scalded her personal nanny. She glared at Gu Yunran unhappily.
"You can't even serve tea properly!"

As she spoke, she walked to the coffee table, picked up the freshly boiled tea and poured it into the cup. When the water temperature was almost right, she brought it to Qin and served her the tea obediently.

Qin looked at the tea and felt that she didn't know whether to drink it or not. There was a lot of salt in it. Her throat was sore and painful, and drinking it would only make it worse.
