The master, his servant and his two companions rode in a carriage heading towards the west of the city. Mu Qianxue leaned against the wall of the carriage and closed her eyes to rest. After an unknown amount of time, she lifted the curtain and took a look outside.
Across from them was Huanyanzhai, a famous jewelry store in Shengjing. She happened to see a familiar figure walk in. Mu Qianxue frowned slightly and ordered the coachman, "Stop the carriage."
Su Xin was puzzled: "Second Miss, we haven't even reached the west of the city yet, why are we stopping here?"
Mu Qianxue pointed to Huanyanzhai and said, "I'll go take a look."
She saw an old friend.
Suxin and Lianxin didn't say much and followed him.
The shopkeeper was introducing this year's new styles to a woman one by one. "These are the new styles that have just been released. Take a look."
"You look more elegant in this suit!"
"This one is more elegant."
Seeing someone coming in, the female shopkeeper stood up and greeted with a smile, "Who is this beautiful girl?"
Su Xin said, "Our second young lady."
Su Xin was Madam Mu's personal maid. After Mu Qianxue came back, Madam Mu asked Su Xin to serve Mu Qianxue. Mu Qianxue always liked quietness, so she and Lian Xin stayed outside the yard and only went in when Mu Qianxue needed her.
In the early years, Su Xin often followed Old Madam Mu to Huanyanzhai to buy hair and ornaments, so the female shopkeeper remembered her as a maid from the Mu family at a glance.
She smiled even more happily: "So it's the second young lady of the Mu family. Seeing is believing. Today I saw her in person. She is much more beautiful than the legend."
Mu Qianxue smiled softly: "Thank you for the compliment, shopkeeper."
"Come and take a look, which one do you like? I'll pack them up and send them to your home." The female shopkeeper smiled widely and took out a few more unique sets.
“This set.”
"I want this one."
The two people answered in unison, neither of them giving in.
