Chapter 113 Crossing the Ocean to See Pigs

August 31, sunny.

The campus of Xianshan No. 2 Middle School, bathed in the early autumn morning light, welcomed its first batch of students for the new school year.

After Liu Feng, carrying his schoolbag, entered the campus and completed the registration procedures, he did not linger on campus like other students. Instead, he hurriedly left the school to meet up with Uncle Zhang, and the two of them wandered around the vicinity of the school.

After some searching, they purchased a small courtyard near the river.

The courtyard is surrounded by green trees, and the air is filled with the fresh fragrance of soil and flowers. This place is not only beautiful, but also helpful for Liu Feng's Qi cultivation.

After completing the purchase procedures, Liu Feng carefully selected a large watermelon by the roadside to celebrate the completion of his new home.

At Uncle Zhang's office, the two sat facing each other at the coffee table, enjoying this simple happiness.

Cutting the watermelon open reveals its bright red, sandy flesh, clearly indicating it's a good watermelon.

The two ate watermelon and chatted.

Uncle Zhang mentioned that he had discussed with several county leaders that morning about purchasing land and building a food processing plant. Liu Feng listened with great interest and occasionally expressed his own opinions.

The next day, in the morning.

A pretty figure quietly appeared at the door of Class 1, Grade 7 – Wang Juan.

She asked a classmate to pass on a message, which instantly attracted the attention of many boys.

"Someone is looking for you outside."

Hearing someone call his name, Liu Feng snapped out of his meditation.

In an environment where the spiritual energy of heaven and earth is depleted, he can only find another way, by purchasing medicinal herbs, refining elixirs and taking medicine to aid his cultivation.

Liu Feng not only had to consume these pills, but also diligently practiced meditation every day, using special breathing techniques to guide the medicinal power to his entire body's meridians.

Although this method is time-consuming and laborious, in a world where spiritual energy is scarce, Liu Feng had no other choice but to gradually increase his power in this way.

"What are you doing here?" Liu Feng walked out of the classroom and saw Wang Juan looking at him with a smile.

"Guess what?" Wang Juan winked mischievously and said with a smile.

“I guess you’ve traveled all the way across the ocean to see me? You’ve crossed countless mountains and rivers and suddenly appeared in front of me…” Liu Feng pretended to think, then answered in a slightly exaggerated tone.

"No, I came all the way from the ocean to see the pigs!" Wang Juan covered her mouth and laughed.

"You don't go to school here too, do you?" Liu Feng asked in surprise.

“That’s right, you’re smart. We’re alumni now, aren’t you surprised?” Wang Juan nodded, her eyes sparkling with bright sunshine, and asked.

"Is this real? Am I dreaming?" Liu Feng said incredulously.

Looking back on her past life, Wang Juan attended No. 3 Middle School in Xianshan because her mother was a teacher. Wang Juan grew up at her maternal grandfather's house and completed elementary school there.

Because of Liu Feng, this butterfly effect, the flapping of his wings changed Wang Juan's life trajectory.

In this life, with Liu Feng's help and guidance, Wang Juan's math scores improved rapidly, which is why she was eventually able to get into Xianshan No. 2 Middle School.

Wang Juan smiled and pinched Liu Feng's elbow.

Liu Feng felt a slight pain, and when he came to his senses, he quickly cupped his hands and begged for mercy, saying, "Please take good care of me in the future, classmate Wang Juan."

This made Wang Juan laugh out loud.

"Let's go eat rice noodles at the school gate tonight? It's on me," Wang Juan said.

“Okay,” Liu Feng replied with a smile.

They chatted for a few minutes at the classroom door before returning to their respective classrooms. Liu Feng was in the first year of junior high school (1), and Wang Juan was in the first year (5).

After sitting back down, Liu Feng resumed his taciturn and quiet demeanor, no longer taking the initiative to communicate with the students around him.

In this reborn world, apart from those he knew from his previous life, he had no interest in anyone else.

If there's no need, he just wants to quietly immerse himself in his own cultivation and simple interpersonal relationships.

He discovered that as his divine sense and spiritual power increased, the magical gourd also absorbed more spiritual energy from the void.

Let him become intoxicated.

As soon as the school bell rang, Liu Feng couldn't wait to walk out of the classroom and stand at the door of classroom 1(5), waiting for Wang Juan to come out.

Wang Juan walked out of the classroom with a smile on her face, and the two of them walked together to a noodle shop outside the school.

This small shop is thriving, with a string of red lanterns hanging at the entrance, exuding a strong sense of bustling activity.

When Liu Feng and Wang Juan entered, the tables inside were almost full, with only a few empty seats. Wang Juan smiled and said, "I had the rice noodles here yesterday, and they were especially delicious. You must try them!"

The shop was steaming hot, filled with students coming from school, crowding in one after another.

Liu Feng stood in front of Wang Juan to protect her from being jostled or bumped.

After they sat down, Wang Juan ordered two bowls of rice noodles, each with an egg added.

Soon, the waiter brought over two bowls of steaming hot rice noodles. The broth was rich and flavorful, the rice noodles were smooth and thin, and a few pieces of bright green scallions, vegetables, and bright red chili oil floated on top, making it very fragrant.

Looking at the two bowls of rice noodles, Liu Feng couldn't help but swallow, thinking that the rice noodles did indeed look quite good.

Wang Juan took a bite, and a satisfied smile immediately bloomed on her face. The spiciness made her oval face flushed, making her look especially cute.

Liu Feng picked up a mouthful of rice noodles and took a bite. It was smooth but not greasy, soft and chewy, and with the soup, it was indeed delicious.

They ate and chatted, and in their relaxed conversation, Liu Feng felt a long-lost sense of affection.

After the meal, Liu Feng took two copies of "King of Comics" magazine out of his bag and handed them to Wang Juan.

When Wang Juan took it, her eyes lit up immediately. She opened one of the volumes and saw their collaborative comic, "My Martial Arts Academy."
