On the morning of October 9th, sunlight streamed through the window lattice and into the classroom.
Liu Feng walked into the classroom carrying two large, bulging bags, a sight that immediately attracted the attention of many students, who cast curious and inquisitive glances at him.
Sitting in the row in front of him, a girl named Li Yu couldn't contain her curiosity any longer. She turned her head slightly and asked softly, "Liu Feng, what are those two big bags you're carrying?"
Liu Feng raised his head slightly and glanced at Li Yu.
Ever since that time during a break between classes, when she was playing around with a female classmate and bumped into Liu Feng, she has been turning around to look at Liu Feng every now and then.
"Do you really want to know?" Liu Feng asked.
“Of course.” Li Yu was surprised that Liu Feng, who was usually taciturn, would actually talk to her.
"Alright, I'll show you a little magic trick."
Liu Feng spoke mysteriously, then waved his hand lightly in front of Li Yu's eyes, as if casting some kind of magic.
"Look, the thing has quietly slipped into your pocket. Take it out after school and you'll be pleasantly surprised. Remember, don't open it in front of anyone, or the magic won't work!"
Looking at Liu Feng before him, Li Yu felt that every move he made was as smooth as flowing water, and was very pleasing to the eye.
She subconsciously touched her pocket, her beautiful eyes filled with surprise, and also with a strange and expectant look.
"Li Yu, could I move the table a little closer to you? It's too narrow here," Liu Feng said.
"Okay, sure." Li Yu agreed softly, but secretly thought to himself, "Liu Feng, I'll let you off this time since you talked to me. After school, I'll see what's in your pocket."
Liu Feng nodded in satisfaction and turned to look at his deskmate, Hebei Hai.
Hebei Hai is an honest and kind person, and a good deskmate.
Yesterday, Liu Feng only took one day off, and the two girls in front of him pushed the desk back, making it even narrower, while Hebei Hai did not resist.
That's why Liu Feng spoke to Li Yu, trying to get her to stop causing trouble and bully the two honest classmates behind her.
Liu Feng stuffed something into Hebei Hai's schoolbag, and also told him not to open it yet.
Liu Feng was in an exceptionally good mood today, with a faint smile on his face the whole time.
The second period was a Chinese language class.
The homeroom teacher walked over to Liu Feng's desk and asked with concern, "Liu Feng, what illness do you have? Is it serious?"
"Teacher, I'm not sick," Liu Feng replied, full of doubt.
The homeroom teacher took out a leave slip and placed it in front of Liu Feng.
Liu Feng was immediately overwhelmed with worry.
A small note clearly read: "I'm sick and need treatment! I need to take a day off. Please approve."
After reading it, Liu Feng quickly replied, "Teacher, I don't have any serious illness. I just caught a cold yesterday and had a bit of a headache, but I'm completely better now."
Seeing that Liu Feng was indeed alright, the homeroom teacher returned to the podium and continued the lesson.
Liu Feng put the funny leave slip into his pocket, thinking to himself, "I'm going to give Wang Juan a good spanking after school."
Finally, the melodious bell announced the end of school.
The day students packed their bags, full of anticipation as they prepared to head home.
Liu Feng picked up two heavy bags with one hand, rushed out of the classroom, crossed the corridor, and arrived at the door of Wang Juan's classroom.
Wang Juan walked out of the classroom side by side with a female classmate, and ran over to Liu Feng with delight when she saw him.
"Liu Feng, I haven't seen you for a week. Where have you been going on an adventure?"
"Didn't I tell you? I went to explore the hidden places and search for treasures, and I even brought back some wild treasures for you." Liu Feng replied with a smile, while shaking the bag in his hand to show Wang Juan.
"You can't be telling the truth, right? What other wild treasures are there? Let me see!" Wang Juan's curiosity was piqued, and she couldn't wait to step forward and start rummaging through the bag in Liu Feng's hand.
Her fingers accidentally touched a hard object. When she pulled it out, she saw it was a shiny chestnut the size of an egg. She stared in surprise, "What is this? How can it be so big?"
“It’s chestnuts!” Liu Feng replied confidently.
Then, she peeked into another bag, and a variety of mushrooms came into view. She couldn't help but exclaim again, "Wow, there are mushrooms too!"
"Stop shouting here, let's walk and talk." Liu Feng noticed that many classmates had been attracted to watch, so he quickly pulled Wang Juan to a less crowded place.
"I didn't lie to you this time, did I? These chestnuts were picked by me personally from deep in the mountains. They're all-natural and pollution-free, and they taste especially delicious. And these mushrooms, I remember you said you like mushrooms, so I picked some. Whether you stew them with chicken or stir-fry them, they're absolutely delicious."
As Liu Feng walked, he introduced the "wild treasures" he had brought back to Wang Juan.
