Chapter 14 The Hidden Medicine Garden

On his way back, Liu Feng encountered the group of teenagers again, but this time they seemed to be in bad shape, with one of the boys even limping.

He frowned slightly, and with his keen senses, he immediately sensed that something was wrong.

The boy sprained his ankle and scraped his knee, but these were just minor injuries. What was dangerous was the purple mark on his arm, which looked like a bite from some kind of poisonous insect.

Liu Feng stopped and warned, "Your companion's arm has been poisoned, and the venom is spreading. It's best to keep his arm still and avoid moving it unnecessarily, as this could worsen the symptoms. Take him down the mountain to the hospital as soon as possible!"

The boy glared at Liu Feng and said rudely, "What do you know, you little brat? Don't spout nonsense and curse people here!"

Liu Feng sighed inwardly and said no more.

After he finished speaking, he glared at Liu Feng and said with displeasure, "If you don't know, don't talk nonsense. Get out of our way!"

Liu Feng stepped aside to let them pass, shaking his head inwardly.

One of the girls turned around and gave Liu Feng an apologetic smile: "Little brother, thank you! We've already called home, and the driver is at the foot of the mountain and will be there soon. Goodbye."

Liu Feng smiled wryly, realizing he had been meddling in other people's business.

He set up a fire outside the Taoist temple and began roasting a wild rabbit.

The wild rabbit slowly rotated over the fire, dripping golden fat and emitting an enticing aroma. Liu Feng sprinkled some homemade spices on top, making the aroma even more intense.

Liu Feng had been busy gathering herbs for most of the day and hadn't eaten yet; he was now starving.

Liu Feng ate the whole rabbit without any effort, filling his stomach.

He patted his belly contentedly and then went on to do other things.
