"No!" Wang Juan's eyes flickered.

"Who was the boy who just brought you back?" Wang Juan's mother wasn't so easily fooled and went straight to the crucial question.

"Ah, that's my classmate." Wang Juan's heart suddenly raced, and her cheeks flushed slightly, but she still managed to answer calmly.

Seeing her daughter's reaction, Wang Juan's mother became increasingly worried.

We arrived at the living room.

Wang Juan's mother decided to have a serious talk with her daughter.

"Juan'er, how is your classmate doing in school?" Wang Juan's mother asked tentatively.

“A little better than me, Mom,” Wang Juan replied.

“I know.” Wang Juan nodded.

“Juan’er, Mom isn’t trying to interfere with your friendships, but you need to focus on your studies. You’re still young, so don’t get involved in those unnecessary things, understand?” Wang Juan’s mother said earnestly.

Wang Juan lowered her head, softly hummed in agreement, and bit her lip.

She was probably thinking something to herself.
