Chapter 61 Sending Yu Jingya Home

In the golden glow of the setting sun, Liu Feng strode towards Yu Jingya, who was painfully rubbing her ankle.

She twisted her ankle after accidentally stepping into a collapsed embankment; the pain made her face covered in sweat and her brow furrowed.

"Sister Xiaoling, please step aside for a moment, let me check how badly her foot is injured." Liu Feng's voice was full of concern.

He walked up to Yu Jingya, squatted down, and carefully untied her shoelaces, revealing her swollen ankles.

Looking at Liu Feng's focused expression, Liu Xiaoling couldn't help but ask in surprise, "You know how to treat foot injuries?"

Liu Feng smiled and nodded, replying, "A little." His voice revealed a hint of confidence.

He gently placed his hand on Yu Jingya's ankle. Yu Jingya felt his warm and strong palm, as if a warm current was flowing from his palm to her aching ankle.

A blush crept onto her face, and her heart raced.

Liu Feng began to carefully examine Yu Jingya's ankle, his technique skillful and gentle.

He gently massaged the muscles around Yu Jingya's ankle, and from time to time used his internal energy to clear the blood stasis in her feet, helping to reduce pain and swelling.

Yu Jingya felt a warm current flow from Liu Feng's palm into her ankle. The original piercing pain gradually became blurred and was replaced by a tingling sensation.

She looked at Liu Feng in amazement, her eyes filled with gratitude and admiration.

After a while, Liu Feng raised his head and said to Yu Jingya, "Yu Jingya, try standing up again. You should be able to walk now."

Yu Jingya took a deep breath and mustered her courage to try to stand up.

However, when she shifted her weight to her feet, a sharp pain struck again, causing her to frown: "It still hurts, I can't walk."

Seeing this, Liu Feng was also filled with doubt.

He had clearly used his spiritual power to heal Yu Jingya's ankle injury, so why was it still hurting? Could it be...?

Liu Xiaoling glanced at the sky and, seeing that night was about to fall, became anxious: "Fourth brother, it's getting dark. We can't leave Yu Jingya here."

She thought for a moment and suggested, "Why don't you carry her for a while?"

Liu Feng nodded, looked at Yu Jingya, and said gently, "Then I'll carry you on my back."

He knew Yu Jingya quite well, knowing that although she appeared gentle and quiet, she was resilient and passionate inside. Therefore, he wasn't worried that Yu Jingya would feel shy or uncomfortable because of this.

Upon hearing Liu Xiaoling's suggestion, Yu Jingya lowered her head slightly, a hint of shyness flashing across her face, but she quickly regained her composure.

She did not refuse, but nodded gently.

Under everyone's watchful eyes, Liu Feng bent down and easily carried Yu Jingya on his back.

Despite his young age, Liu Feng's back view appeared exceptionally steady.

Everyone was initially worried that he wouldn't be able to carry Yu Jingya, but seeing his relaxed expression, they were all relieved.

As they walked, they came to a fork in the road. Liu Feng stopped and turned to Liu Xiaoling and the others, saying, "Sister Xiaoling, you should go back first. I'll be back after I take Yu Jingya home."

"All right!"

Watching Liu Feng carrying Yu Jingya away into the distance, Liu Xiaoling couldn't help but say, "Fourth brother, the path is difficult to walk on, so please walk slowly."

Yu Jingya pressed against Liu Feng's back and could clearly feel his strong heartbeat and steady steps.

The pure fragrance emanating from Liu Feng was as refreshing as a spring breeze, and she closed her eyes slightly, her cheeks flushing.

She unconsciously hugged Liu Feng tighter, her breasts pressing against his back, making her feel a strange mix of shyness and nervousness.

Liu Feng also sensed the subtle change in Yu Jingya, but he didn't say anything and just walked on silently.

Soon after, the two arrived at the village where Yu Jingya lived.

Yu Jingya said softly, "Liu Feng, put me down. I can walk back by myself."

Liu Feng stopped and gently put Yu Jingya down.

Looking at her slightly flushed cheeks and her eyes sparkling with springtime light, he couldn't help but feel a surge of inexplicable emotion.

"Liu Feng, thank you!" Yu Jingya said shyly, then ran happily into the village. She kept looking back at Liu Feng, her eyes sparkling with inexplicable emotions.

Liu Feng stood there, watching Yu Jingya's figure disappear, a strange feeling welling up inside him. He shook his head and thought to himself:

"Has this little girl already taken a liking to you so quickly?"
