Chapter 81 Chen Tai Xiang Invitation

In the brightly lit backstage private room, Liu Feng's gaze met that of a middle-aged woman.

She was about forty years old, dressed in a well-tailored dark suit, looking capable and elegant.

"Hello, I am Leslie Cheung's manager, Chen Fen. Thank you so much for your support and performance!" She stood up to greet him, smiling, and did not look down on Liu Feng because of his young age.

Liu Feng quickly returned the greeting: "Mrs. Chen, you are too kind. My name is Liu Feng. I have been a fan of yours for many years. It is a great honor for me to have the opportunity to sing with you on the same stage."

After the two sat down, the waiter promptly served tea, filling the air with a faint aroma that added a touch of warmth and comfort to this unexpected meeting.

Mrs. Chen was clearly very curious about Liu Feng. She asked, "Brother Liu, your singing voice is so moving, it's unbelievable. Can you tell me which teacher nurtured your talent?"

Liu Feng smiled gently and replied, "Actually, my musical enlightenment came from my elementary school music teacher. Although she wasn't a big shot, she taught me in the simplest way how to feel music with my heart and how to express myself."

Upon hearing this, Mrs. Chen looked at Liu Feng with even greater admiration. She continued, "Your rendition of 'I' truly touched people's hearts. I think it's very suitable for your singing style, brother. I wonder if you would be willing..."

Before he could finish speaking, Liu Feng already understood what Mrs. Chen meant.

He smiled and interrupted Mrs. Chen: "Mrs. Chen, don't worry, I've already decided to give that song to my brother. It belongs to him now, so there's no need to talk about buying and selling it."

Liu Feng's generosity and sincerity moved Mrs. Chen. She knew what an excellent song meant in this era of booming music industry.

But Liu Feng's attitude was so indifferent, as if all of this was just a natural thing for him.

So, Mrs. Chen tentatively extended another invitation: "Brother Liu, with your talent, have you ever thought about entering the entertainment industry? Our 'Glorious Entertainment' is very willing to cooperate with you and provide you with the best resources, second only to your brother's treatment."

However, Liu Feng gently shook his head, rejecting the tempting offer: "Thank you for your kind offer, Mrs. Chen, but I don't have any such plans at the moment. Music is just a hobby for me, and I don't want it to be too commercialized."

Although Mrs. Chen felt a little regretful, she respected Liu Feng's choice. She said, "It's a real pity, but I believe your future will be even brighter. If you change your mind later, or if you need any help, please feel free to contact me."

Just then, a series of hurried footsteps came from outside the door, and Leslie Cheung, Anita Mui, Zhang Dashu, and others entered the private room one after another.

Leslie Cheung recognized Liu Feng at a glance and excitedly exclaimed, "So you've been here all along! I've been looking for you everywhere since the concert!"

Anita Mui and Cheung Tai-shu were also curious about Liu Feng's identity. When they saw Liu Feng's face in person, they couldn't help but show their shock.

"What a handsome student!" Anita Mui exclaimed.

Zhang Dashu asked curiously, "Are you the mysterious guest who always had his back to the audience on stage and sang a duet with my brother?"

Leslie Cheung smiled and nodded in confirmation: "Big Tree, that's him!"

After this introduction, the atmosphere in the private room became even more lively, and everyone gathered around Liu Feng, expressing their appreciation and affection for him.

After chatting for a while, Mrs. Chen was very enthusiastic. She suggested with a smile, "Everyone, you've all worked so hard. How about we go get some late-night snacks?"

Everyone readily agreed.

Under Mrs. Chan's arrangement, the group entered a well-known tea restaurant near the Hong Kong Coliseum – Tsim Sha Tsui.

Inside the restaurant, the lighting is soft and the atmosphere is warm.

Mrs. Chen specially booked a private room, which maintained privacy while adding a touch of intimacy.

The group sat around a table, and soon, waiters moved among them, placing one exquisite dish after another on the table.

The aroma of the pineapple bun is irresistible, with a golden and crispy crust encasing a soft and fluffy custard filling, making it incredibly tempting.

The lotus root and water chestnut balls are refreshing and delicious; taking a bite makes you feel the freshness of a summer lotus pond.

And then there's the runny double-egg rice, where the egg yolks slowly flow out and blend with the rice, making every bite a feeling of pure bliss.

These authentic Hong Kong delicacies not only satisfied the taste buds but also swept away everyone's fatigue.

At the dining table.

Remembering that Jin Xiaohu wanted his brother's autograph, Liu Feng asked Leslie Cheung, Zhang Dashu, and Anita Mui for help.

They weren't at all like big stars; they were very friendly and approachable.

Then, during a casual chat with Mrs. Chen, I inadvertently learned that the director of "My Fair Princess" was seeking investment.

Liu Feng's eyes lit up, and he earnestly asked Mrs. Chen for help in making an introduction, expressing his interest in film and television investment.
