Chapter 16 Lingling Wants to Return to the East Continent

When the three of them from the East Continent arrived, Aram and his companions were worried about the gradual withering of the mother tree and the deteriorating health of their people.

They also never imagined that the teleportation array would be able to teleport them back one day, because the cost of activating this array was too high.

When the Treeman chief first built this magic circle, the East and West continents had not yet split, and the magic circle was set up only to leave a retreat for the tribe.

Who knew that a war would break out later? They had no choice but to activate the magic circle, and not long after the magic circle was activated, the continent split into two.

From then on, they had no contact with the tribesmen who were teleported away, nor were they able to contact them anymore.

Therefore, the difficulty of their reunion now was far beyond Blue and the others' expectations, not to mention that this reunion also brought a miraculous little baby, which allowed them to recover their health and see hope of life again.

Miracle baby Lingling: Hmm?

Lingling was still immersed in the affectionate confession of the tree man grandmother. She was still a little dazed and subconsciously turned back into the most comfortable baby look.

She didn't know why she was crying even though her grandma was happy, and subconsciously put her little face close to Ashley.

Ashley's heart was melted by her actions. She hugged her firmly and took out a handful of bright flowers that she had prepared long ago from the tree canopy and put them in Lingling's little hand.

Lingling looked at the bright and juicy little flowers, keeping her mouth in an "O" shape for a long time before she excitedly clenched her hands.

She waved the gift from the Tree Man Grandma to the Tree People and was extremely happy.

It's also very cute.

What an easily satisfied little guy, everyone thought at the same time.

Lingling lay obediently in Ashley's arms, and the atmosphere was extremely warm.

At this time, Blue had no choice but to go forward.

"Ashley, we were teleported here accidentally. The tribe might be in a panic because of our disappearance. So, we might have to find a way to go back, little kid..."

He didn't finish his words, but Ashley understood what he meant.

It was the little guy who activated the magic circle when they came, so they naturally had to rely on the little guy to go back.

However, the magic circle itself consumes a huge amount of magic power, which is why the clan leader and his men had used up their last bit of energy.

The little baby seems to be fine at the moment, but it's just like what Blue was worried about before.

They were always afraid that something might happen to the child's body, so they had to continue observing for a few days. Therefore, they absolutely did not dare to let the little kid activate the magic circle again.

So how to go back or inform the tribesmen in the East Continent has become a big problem now.

Several people looked at each other and began to think about this problem.

Seeing everyone quiet down again, Lingling stopped playing with the flower with great interest and turned to ask, "Huh? (What's wrong?)"

"It's nothing." Ashley saw the confusion in the little girl's eyes and comforted her.

At the same time, he signaled to everyone with his eyes: Let’s not talk about this matter for now, we can discuss it later.

Blue didn't want to make Lingling unhappy, so he could only suppress his worries and shut up.

Lingling noticed the atmosphere was a bit strange, but without thinking too much about it, she looked at the small flower in her hand and suddenly thought of the beautiful wild flowers in her territory and the brothers who had played with her.

"Lingling has been out for a long time, my brothers must be worried," she thought to herself.

He turned around and began searching for Amos among a group of tree people.

"Ah~ (Uncle~)" After a while, Lingling saw Amos not far away.

Amos was cheered up by her shout. He walked over happily, touched her little face, and asked, "Little girl, are you calling me?"

"Yeah," Lingling nodded her head. Yes.

Amos found her acting like she understood what he was saying a little funny, and continued to ask, "What do you want to see your uncle for?"

"Ah~oh~ (Brother~Brother~)" Lingling tried her best to pronounce the word "brother" correctly, but it was still unclear in the end.

As expected, Amos didn't understand, and neither did the other tree people.

Lingling had no choice but to start gesturing in Ashley's arms.

I saw her reaching her little hands behind her and kicking her legs, imitating the way she was running while holding the little tree people.

Afraid that his movements were not accurate enough, he suddenly changed back into a little tree man, wrapped his own branches around Ashley's branches, and continued to recreate the scene.

The sudden change and movement startled Ashley so much that she almost lost her grip.

Amos was indeed a warrior, with a great ability to identify things. Combining Lingling's pronunciation and previous and subsequent movements, he finally guessed what Lingling wanted to say.

"Baby, do you want to talk about brothers? Do you want to find a few brothers?" Amos asked tentatively.

Then Amos saw the sapling shaking its branches excitedly.

Well, it seems that I guessed right.

He looked at the elders with embarrassment, then explained softly to Lingling, "Baby, the brothers aren't here. They're at another home. You can only see them when you go home."

After the conversation just now, Amos had keenly discovered that the little baby's intelligence was far beyond their imagination.

She should be able to understand what they were saying, so she didn't just give her a perfunctory response, but explained it to Lingling seriously.

Lingling paused in her excitement, then waved the small branch majestically and pointed into the distance.

Then go home, Lingling, go home to find your brother.

Amos accidentally understood her body language and quickly grabbed her twig, No, you can't.

Lingling was caught, but she didn't get angry. She just let Amos hold her small branch and turned to look at Blue who came with her.
