In the dark forest, a slender figure moved quickly.
I don’t know how long I ran, but the figure stopped at an old tree stump. There was nothing special about the stump, but it had circles of growth rings on it, so it must be very old.
It was hidden between two trees, short and blending into the surrounding environment. It could not be seen at all in the dark night without careful observation.
The figure, Josiah, squatted slightly, reached out and took out a wooden sign, and placed it into a concave place on the side of the tree stump. A unique golden pattern immediately appeared on the stump, shaped like a pointed ear.
After a while, a golden halo appeared in front.
Josiah quickly retracted the wooden sign and stepped into the light circle holding Lingling.
After they entered, the circle of light flashed in the darkness and quickly disappeared, taking Josiah and the others with them.
......
Entering the territory of the elves, Josiah's tense nerves finally relaxed.
Lingling, who had been well-behaved all the way, noticed her brother's change and asked curiously, "Brother, are you home yet?"
"Yes, brother is home." Josiah replied in a relaxed tone.
After hearing this, Lingling's curiosity was piqued. She kicked her legs and said softly to Josiah, "Brother, can you put Lingling down? Lingling wants to walk by herself."
After hearing this, Josiah felt reluctant to let go of the sweet and soft little one in his arms, but he still respected Lingling's wishes and gently put her on the ground.
Lingling felt something different the moment her feet returned to the ground.
Hmm~ The ground feels soft when you step on it?
Lingling was puzzled and subconsciously wanted to look down.
As a result, when I lowered my head, I met Huhu's big ice-blue eyes.
The two cubs looked at each other with big eyes.
Lingling was silent for a moment, then silently pushed away Huhu's round head.
"Hoohoo, you're blocking Lingling."
Huhu's head was pushed aside and he whimpered in grievance.
Lingling perfunctorily touched Huhu's little head to comfort him, but her eyes kept looking at the ground.
"It's grass, no wonder it's so soft." Lingling exclaimed softly.
Josiah, who was standing by, felt a little itchy when he saw the little guy's slightly open mouth.
So soft, I want to poke it.
Lingling was still looking down at the grass, and seeing that Huhu was really blocking her view, she simply put it down.
Huhu was lying on his back on the soft grass, his four legs facing the air, still a little unresponsive.
After it realized that it was thrown away,
“Awoo—Awoo—”
A miserable cry suddenly came out of the tender little voice.
Lingling was startled and quickly squatted down to cover the little tiger's mouth.
"Mmmmm"
"Huhu, be good and don't shout. You will disturb others." Lingling looked like a little teacher.
"Mmmmm"
"If you stop calling Lingling, I'll let you go, okay?" Lingling discussed this with Huhu.
Huhu had his mouth covered and looked at Lingling pitifully, but Lingling was not moved at all.
Finally, the little winged tiger lowered its noble head and nodded.
Lingling then happily let go of her hand and stroked the little tiger's head.
Josiah stood aside and watched the whole drama of the baby training the tiger from beginning to end. When he saw that the show was over, he walked forward.
On the way, he discovered that what the child was holding in his arms was not an ordinary animal, but a winged tiger cub.
He was actually a little surprised that the child was holding a Warcraft cub, because the elves had already come into contact with Warcraft before, and it was not easy to come into contact with them.
However, he also respected the child's privacy and did not intend to ask too much.
"Lingling, I'll take you home to rest. You have to get up early tomorrow to go back to the market to see your family."
When Lingling heard this, she quickly stood up and grabbed Josiah's cloak with her little hands.
"Yeah, yeah, Lingling doesn't want to play anymore. Let's go, brother. Early to bed and early to wake up~"
Josiah was stunned for a moment when Lingling grabbed his cloak, then he quietly reached out and held Lingling's soft little hand.
"Yeah, yeah, let's go."
So soft, so soft.
There were two of them, one big and one small. Behind the small one followed a stumbling little winged tiger. They moved forward slowly in the night, relying on the lights in the elves' territory.
After walking for a while, Bai Jiu couldn't help it anymore.
"Baby, have you forgotten something?"
"What's going on?" Lingling, who was being held firmly and playing on the grass with her head lowered, looked a little confused.
"Don't you want to help your brother? After you leave tomorrow, you won't be able to help him anymore, and your chances of coming to the elves' territory in the future will be almost zero." Bai Jiu explained helplessly.
Lingling's little head suddenly lifted up, and the movement was so violent that her little body fell backwards.
The person following behind was so scared that he jumped away.
The baby tiger was scared to death!
Josiah also noticed Lingling's abnormality, stopped and asked gently, "Lingling, is there anything else?"
Lingling didn't answer immediately, still communicating with Bai Jiu in her mind.
"Uncle Bai, does Lingling need to learn that purification magic?"
"Yes, baby. You need to learn their inherited magic - purification magic - and then heal them before you go back to the market tonight or tomorrow morning."
"them?"
"Yes, there are many elves who are sick like your brother. If you learn it, you can treat them all."
Then I can collect their sincere gratitude and convert it into system energy to run the system and help my kids anytime and anywhere.
