Chapter 65 Apology and Thanks

Under a big tree with dense branches and leaves.

Holly and Tag sat casually on the ground, placed Lingling in front of them, and teased the little dumpling while waiting for the three mermaid siblings.

"Lingling, come, dance for uncle."

"Lingling, can you hold the spiritual liquid? Come on, continue and exercise your muscles."

"Lingling, why don't you come out and run for a while to stretch your legs? I'll run with you. I guarantee you'll be able to run faster than others in the future."

......

The two adult male tree people in their forties seemed to have instantly returned to their childhood, constantly saying things that were inconsistent with their IQ.

The well-behaved Lingling initially obeyed whatever her uncle said.

Later, the little girl was tired and just gave up. She turned her back in the flowerpot and ignored the two uncles who were more playful than her.

Uncle is bad, Lingling is tired!

Bai Jiu was also complaining crazily in his mind, but of course, he didn't let Lingling hear him.

"You say dance, and we're dancing?! Dance for me too."

"Is there something seriously wrong? Why would my lovely little girl need big muscles?"

"If you want to run, run on your own. My baby can beat you, but if you can't, I'm still here!"

......

Here, seeing Lingling turned her back and ignored them, Holly and Tag touched their noses and finally felt a little embarrassed. They hurriedly took out the spiritual liquid they brought with them to coax the baby.

"Lingling, come and drink some spiritual fluid. Let's get back to the carriage. Your sister Sophia and her brothers should be done talking."

Lingling then cautiously turned around, glanced at her two uncles, and emphasized in a childish voice, "No training for fat?!"

"No practice, no practice, uncle will feed you."

Tag was smart. After Lingling ignored them, he realized that this was not the way the two of them took care of a little girl.

He quickly opened his cup of spiritual liquid, handed it to Lingling's mouth, and clumsily fed her.

Lingling was easy to coax. After taking a few sips of spiritual liquid, she decided to forgive her two not-so-bright uncles.

She shook the twig and suddenly pointed towards the carriage.

"Let's go~"

Then she was picked up by Tag, who was always keeping an eye on her, and walked towards the carriage.

The main thing is to be obedient!

Holly didn't seize the opportunity to coax the baby in time. He could only pat the grass debris on his butt, stand up and follow silently behind.

......

In the carriage, the three siblings had indeed finished their conversation.

Sophia's eyes were red, and a few more pearls fell into the big water tank under her, some blue and some pink. It was obvious how excited the owner of the pearls was just a moment ago.

Her two brothers blocked the carriage door tightly. There was no way they could get in because the water tank took up too much space. They could only get closer to their beloved sister by sticking to the door.

"Sister, so those two people are tree people, and they are here to take you home, right?" Jeffrey, the eldest of the twin brothers, confirmed.

"Yes, it's a good thing you didn't fight with Brother Holly and Brother Tag in your excitement just now. Otherwise, I don't know how to apologize on your behalf." Sophia was a little scared.

The second brother, Jeremy, looked a little embarrassed and said with a little lack of confidence: "No, it's okay, we will apologize."

"Puchi." Seeing her second brother's awkward yet forced composure, Sophia couldn't help but laugh out loud. She raised her chin and gestured behind them, "Hey—go ahead, they're coming."

The two brothers stiffened, exhaled silently, and turned around in unison.

Golden eyes stared straight at Tag and the others. Seeing them approach, the two brothers suddenly bent down in unison: "Sorry! Thank you!"

Tag, who was holding Lingling, and Holly, who was following behind, were frightened. Lingling was so frightened that she forgot to disguise herself as a small potted plant. She turned around and buried herself in Tag's arms.

Oh, these two pretty brothers are so scary~ What are you doing so loudly? QAQ

Tag touched Lingling's small leaves soothingly, stared at the two teenagers who were still bent over with some helplessness, silently turned his head to look at Holly behind him, and signaled with his eyes.

"Holly, you go."

"Go ahead, I always feel like these two kids are a bit stubborn."

"I see. It's okay. We can communicate."

"Then it's even more your turn. I'm afraid I won't be able to resist taking action because of my explosive temper."

Finally, after intense eye contact, the two tree people reached a common opinion.

Tag handed Lingling to Holly and went forward to help up the two stubborn mermaid boys.

"Please get up. We don't blame you and we understand your feelings."

Jeffrey and Jeremy finally breathed a sigh of relief and slowly straightened up.

Jeffrey looked at Tag and Holly seriously, and this time his tone was much gentler. He said, "Thank you very much for helping our sister. We thank you on behalf of the mermaids."

"Especially Brother Holly, thank you for choosing to save Sophia when you met her. Otherwise, we might have lost our sister forever."

When talking about the possibility of losing Sophia, Jeffrey and Jeremy beside him clenched their fists, and a bloodthirsty light flashed in their eyes, which was chilling.

But the two teenagers quickly adjusted themselves. Jeffrey clenched his right fist, raised it to his left shoulder, and tapped it lightly. He said solemnly, "I swear as the eldest prince of the mermaid tribe that if you need any help in the future, we will do our best to help you."

Jeremy also swore along with his brother: "I swear as the second prince of the mermaid tribe that as long as it is a reasonable request that does not harm innocent people, we will not refuse it."
