In a carriage on the roadside.
The little guy turned stiffly and looked at Tag, and asked weakly, "Lingling didn't cause any trouble for the uncles, did she?"
Tag touched her leaves and comforted her, "It's okay, Lingling, you can play however you want. Those two brothers are not bad people."
Now Lingling felt relieved and no longer kept her body stiff. She began to twist around in the flowerpot without restraint.
After twisting for just a few times, Lingling paused and signaled Tag to carry her out again.
Tag was a little confused, but he still did as Lingling said.
As a result, as soon as Lingling was carried out of the car, she shouted towards the roof: "Hello brothers! I'm Lingling!"
The two teenagers on the roof were startled by Lingling's baby voice.
After realizing what was happening, they jumped down from the roof awkwardly. Two pairs of equally beautiful golden eyes looked at Lingling: "Hello."
"I'm Brother Jeffrey."
"I'm brother Jeremy."
Lingling shook her little leaf in response: "Hello, pretty brothers. Lingling is a polite and good child. I have greeted you. Now Lingling will go in to accompany her sister."
Having said that, he mercilessly let Tag put him back into the carriage.
Only two young boys were left, still savoring Lingling's baby voice.
......
It was getting dark and the night wind was a little chilly.
The carriage of Holly and his group was still rumbling forward.
They haven't found a suitable place to rest yet.
Along the way, they attracted an astonishing number of people who turned their heads to look at them.
The road was sparsely populated, but those who passed by would look at the roof of the carriage with confusion.
"Are those two people crazy? They don't want to ride in the carriage, but sit on the top of the carriage, and they don't even mind the bumpy ride."
This is what most people think.
But looking at Tag and Holly driving the cart and the long swords on their legs, no one dared to say anything.
The two brothers didn't think it was a big deal. They could watch if they wanted. They were wearing hats anyway, so it wouldn't affect anything.
They came to the land and started searching from the human villages and towns closest to the sea, asking for suspicious people along the way.
I was running all the way and didn't dare to take a rest. I was afraid that if I delayed for one more minute, my sister would be in more danger.
Although I can only sit on the roof of the carriage, which is not very comfortable, at least I feel more relaxed than ever before.
The two brothers took turns sleeping on the roof for a while to catch up on their sleep, and now they are in better spirits than ever before.
Holly and Tag took turns driving the car, and they were not allowed to help. They were quite bored, so they just sat on the roof and looked around to see the scenery that could not be seen on the seabed.
It was also their first time on land. They were filled with fear and anxiety and had no mood to appreciate the scenery.
Now I have some free time to see the scenery which is completely different from the seabed.
Suddenly, Jeremy poked his eldest brother with a stern face and asked him in a low voice: "Brother, do you feel that someone has been following us all the way?"
Jeffrey was bewildered, then said with a slightly serious expression, "No, there are only trees all around, and there's no one around here right now. Did you feel anything, or did you see anything?"
Jeffrey didn't think his brother would talk nonsense. His mental power was sharper than his own. He could sense danger before him when he was at the bottom of the sea. Since he said that, there must be someone there.
A hint of confusion appeared on Jeremy's expressionless face. "I think my feeling is right, but I really can't find him."
"Actually, I sensed it when we found Sophia. She had a lot of emotional fluctuations, but they disappeared very quickly."
"My emotions were fluctuating wildly at the time, and with two tree people from the Tree Tribe there, I thought I was sensing their emotions or something, so I didn't think much of it."
"But after that, I sensed it again, vaguely, as if it was there and not there."
"He's approaching us!" Jeremy finally said with certainty.
Jeffrey also realized the seriousness of the problem. They were being followed without even realizing it.
Could it be the group of people who kidnapped Sophia?
Jeffrey clenched his fists and began to spread his mental power to explore.
However, he found nothing and had to give up temporarily.
Suddenly, the carriage stopped.
Holly jumped out of the car first and shouted at them, "Hey, both of you, come down, rest here tonight and continue on your journey tomorrow."
I saw the carriage parked in an open space, surrounded by relatively low trees. It was obvious that people often stopped here, and the grass on the ground was trampled bare.
Tag ignored the three of them, opened the door first, and carried out the little guy who was drowsy in the carriage after a long journey.
Lingling was almost asleep, but was suddenly awakened by this hug.
Tag felt sorry for the little girl. He took her out of the flowerpot, put her on the open ground, and said to her, "Lingling, move around and play for a while. The uncles have prepared some food for you. Eat it later and then go to sleep, okay?"
Lingling was still a little confused, but she quickly realized that the carriage had finally stopped.
She looked around and saw that there was no one else around except themselves, so she jumped out of the flowerpot with peace of mind.
"Uncle Tag, can you let my sister come out and rest for a while? She said she can stay out of the water for a short time."
Just as Tag was about to agree, he saw Jeffrey coming out of the carriage holding his sister, with Jeremy following behind them.
Jeffrey placed Sophia under a nearby tree and let her stretch her body against the trunk.
