Chapter 74 The Injured Orcs

After twisting and turning in the depths of the forest, everyone finally arrived at their destination.

It is a flat and open area artificially opened up in the depths of the forest, and it is also a place full of wildness.

The primitive and natural are intertwined to form a unique landscape.

Before we got close, we could vaguely see from a distance that the orc territory was a bit simple and rough. When we got closer, our guess was indeed true.

There were no decent houses in the orcs' territory. A large bonfire was lit in the middle of the territory, and triangular animal-skin tents supported by tree trunks were scattered around the bonfire on the open space.

The tents are dark in color, and at first glance you might think they are natural products grown from the forest. Although they look rough, each tent can be seen to have been carefully sewn, and it seems that they can still withstand the occasional bad weather.

There are several larger wooden sheds mixed in with a large number of tents. No one knows which orcs live in them and why they live in such a special place.

When Tag and his group came in, the adults in the territory were busy with their work, orc children of all ages were playing happily, and some little tigers, leopards, wolves, and bears that had not yet transformed were jumping around.

The little beast cubs were not wearing any clothes, while the clothes of the orc children were very simple, mostly small skirts made of animal skins, and when the wind blew, their buttocks were exposed.

Some of them were chasing each other, some were rolling on the ground, some were squatting on the ground grabbing something, and some were learning hunting and survival skills from their parents.

"Wow~" Lingling was so happy because she had never seen so many children before.

She excitedly slipped out of Jeremy's arms, trotted to Tag and Holly, and pointed at the group of little orcs.

"Uncle~ Play! Play! Lingling wants to play with us."

Seeing Lingling's happy look, the two tree people didn't want to spoil her fun, but the current situation didn't allow it.

They looked at Damon, who had stood in front of them again, and asked, "Can Lingling play with these little beastmen in your tribe?"

Damon looked at Lingling, who was jumping up and down with excitement, thought for a moment and said, "Didn't you say you were from the Tree People tribe and that you knew healing magic? Even though she's young, she should know it too. Wait until she demonstrates with you to prove that you're from the same tribe, and then I'll have someone take her to play with those children."

"Yeah!"

Before Tag could reply, Lingling jumped on her little feet and agreed.

He also urged Damon: "Grandpa, hurry up, what do you need Lingling to do? Lingling can do it all~"

Damon looked at Lingling kindly and held out his hand to her: "Okay, then you hold grandpa's hand and grandpa will take you there, okay?"

Lingling looked at her uncle and mermaid brother, and after receiving a nod from the adults, she happily stretched out her little branch.

Halfway through, Lingling's eyes suddenly fixed on the little animal cubs in the distance who were already looking at her curiously, and her mind raced.

A second or two later, a round, soft black and white ball appeared in front of everyone.

"Hey~ It's still so beautiful~"

Lingling thought that it didn't look so strange this way. Those children all looked like small animals, so it would be more natural for her to turn into an animal.

"Lingling, your animal form is a super cute panda~" Bai Jiu reminded her.

Lingling immediately changed her tune: "It's more natural to turn into a panda."

Damon was pleasantly surprised by Lingling's transformation and was delighted. Seeing that she was on all fours and could no longer walk upright, he simply leaned over and picked up the chubby Lingling.

"Let's go~"

Damon ignored the surprised looks of his own people and Tag's group, and walked forward slowly with his crutches and the panda cub in his arms.

......

In the center of the territory, behind the campfire, there is a particularly large tent.

This is not the residence of orcs of a slightly higher level like shamans, but the residence of injured orcs.

This orc territory is where several kinds of beast-shaped orcs live together, including the tiger tribe, leopard tribe, wolf tribe, and bear tribe.

Regardless of race, anyone who is injured and needs care will be placed here.

Now, there were several orc women holding bowls filled with sticky herbs, running between several injured orcs.

There is a row of wooden beds with soft straw mats specially prepared for the wounded. There are also several animal skins of different thicknesses on the beds to prevent the injured orcs from hypothermia in case of emergencies.

In this tent, there is an air of pain and struggle, but also of hope and resilience.

The wounds of many orcs were extremely hideous, but they were all grinning and joking with their companions, as if nothing had happened.

However, Lingling, who is very sensitive to people's mental and physical conditions, knows that this is not the case.

Those uncles and aunts were scared, sad, and desperate.

The little guy let Damon hold him obediently all the way, but when they arrived at the big tent, he became restless and insisted on getting off the ground and running by himself.

She wiggled her little butt as she ran to a tiger orc who had transformed into a half-orc with his chest torn and the wound smeared with herbs. With tears in her eyes, she asked the orc in a baby voice, "Uncle, wuwu, you're in pain, right? Can Lingling use magic to help you?"

The tiger beastman was sweating profusely from the pain, his face pale. He saw a strangely colored little bear running towards him, saying in a baby voice that it wanted to help him. He still forced a smile to comfort her: "Uncle is fine, uncle, ahem, we have to go see the beast god."

It was obvious that he took Lingling's words as a joke.

All orcs knew that except for shamans, they had a little magical affinity and could sense magical elements, absorb elements, and cast some small magic.

Other orcs are like magic insulators. They can only be warriors throughout their lives and live on this magical continent by constantly training their physical fitness, reaction, observation, and combat abilities.

So, he just treated Lingling's words as childish talk and didn't take them seriously.

As a result, after a few seconds, the tiger beastman Tiger felt numbness in the wound, and soon he no longer felt the pain.

Tiger, who had previously closed his eyes due to pain, opened them in confusion, and for a moment, his pupils dilated.

All around, the tent of more than 20 square meters was suddenly filled with dark green light. It was the magical light that enveloped the injured orcs.

It is emerald green, just like the color of life, full of vitality.

The source of the light was the little black and white bear that he thought was joking.

When the little bear saw him looking at her, she smiled at him foolishly with tears in her eyes.

It's like saying - Look, I can do magic~
