Chapter 83 Sophia's Decision

On the reefs by the sea, waves beat rhythmically against the rocks on the shore, creating tiny splashes of water.

The three siblings with similar faces were wet by the sea water. They looked at each other for a long time and were speechless for a while.

The twin brothers looked at their sister's determined expression. Although they had some worries in their hearts, when they met Sophia's unwavering eyes, they finally did not say anything against it.

"Okay, sister, just think it over. Your second brother and I will always stand by you."

Jeffrey stroked Sophia's soft long hair with his slender fingers. Without saying anything more, he and Jeremy stood up and walked away, jumping onto a reef not far away, making way for Holly and the others who were gradually approaching.

"Sister~"

The little girl was walking in the middle, her two uncles holding her hands on either side. Her bare white and tender feet were jumping on the soft beach.

The two little tufts of hair on her head swayed like a happy elf. When she saw Sophia staying in the water with her beautiful blue fish tail stretched out, she immediately shouted in a baby voice.

Because they had checked in advance and knew there was no one else around except them, Lingling had returned to human form at Sophia's suggestion.

She was wearing a little blue skirt, the same color as the sea, bright and fresh. The hem of the skirt was dotted with a few white pearls and embroidered with some small fish, which swam along with the child's steps, making it quite lively and interesting.

This is the little skirt that Sophia tailored for Lingling during her free time in the Tree People Tribe. Ashley specially packed it in Lingling's luggage when she was traveling, and now she finally put it on.

Lingling obviously likes this little blue dress very much. Her big eyes are shining and her chubby little face is filled with joy.

She let go of her uncles' big hands, stretched out her short legs, and ran towards Sophia.

However, when the sea water gently brushed against her little feet, Lingling suddenly turned around, lifted her little skirt and ran away quickly, giggling as she ran: "Hahaha, Lingling is going to be drowned!"

After the sea receded, the little guy stepped forward again with curiosity, but was soon frightened by the rising sea water, shouting:

"Lingling is not afraid of water! Cluck, cluck, cluck—"

He turned and ran away, waving his little fists.

Although this little game may seem childish to the adults, it is full of childlike fun.

They couldn't help but smile as they watched Lingling test herself again and again, and be gently brushed by the sea water again and again.

Lingling's innocent laughter on the beach was full of carefree joy, as if it could infect everyone's heart.

This happened several times, and the adults let the little one entertain himself.

In the end, it was Jeremy, who was sitting on the reef, whose patience ran out first.

With a faint smile on his lips, he tore off the cloak that was in the way, jumped off the reef, took a step with his long legs, held the hem of the little girl's calf, lifted her up and put her on his shoulders, walked into the water, transformed into a golden fish tail, and swam into the sea to approach Sophia.

"Tsk, it probably won't be used anymore, so why not just throw it away?" Jeffrey followed behind helplessly and picked up his brother's torn pants.

"Brother, it's up to you—"

Hearing the sound of Jeremy asking for a beating from the person walking ahead, Jeffrey had no choice but to hold his brother's pants and walk slowly over with the tree people.

"Lingling." Sophia couldn't help laughing as she looked at Jeremy and Lingling coming over.

Lingling was suddenly picked up and was afraid of falling into the water, so she sat on Jeremy's shoulders and pulled his short blue hair tightly, making Jeremy grit his teeth.

"Sister, sister~" Lingling was a little scared and responded to Sophia in a trembling baby voice.

Seeing that Lingling was indeed a little scared, Sophia gently comforted her, "Lingling, don't be afraid. The water is very shallow. You won't drown."

"Don't worry, your brothers and sisters won't let you drown. Look at your uncles, the water is only up to their calves."

Lingling turned around to look at Holly and Tag who were walking over, and then her body gradually relaxed, slowly enjoying the feeling of sitting on Jeremy's shoulders.

Little Dumpling held Jeremy's head, turned around and looked at the endless sea in the distance, his little face full of sighs.

“The sea is so big!”

"Why do you think it's called the sea?" Jeremy, who had just had his hair pulled, couldn't help teasing her.

Lingling frowned and thought hard.

"Oh, yeah~ Why not call me Xiao Hai?"

Sophia couldn't help but chuckle, her laughter was clear and sweet, like a silver bell, full of feminine beauty and charm.

She gently lifted Lingling down from Jeremy's shoulders and held her in her arms, letting her little feet touch the sea water. She asked in a somewhat seductive voice:

"Lingling, do you remember the question I asked you in the carriage? Lingling, do you want to go to the sea with me or visit my house? My house is so beautiful~"

Lingling's eyes flickered as she turned to look at her two tree-man uncles, a little hesitant. "If it can't be washed off, Lingling wants to go~ But, uncles?"

"Your uncles will go with Lingling." Sophia knew that Lingling couldn't leave her parents, so she naturally considered Tag and Holly when she was thinking about things.

"Us?!" The two tree people were a little surprised that Sophia, who looked a little aloof, would actually invite them to go to the sea together.

"Of course there are two of you. Brother Holly saved my life, and Brother Tag escorted the three of us all the way back. You are all my benefactors, so it's only natural that you go together."

Sophia explained calmly, as if this was a simple matter of course.

Jeffrey and Jeremy didn't say anything. Since their sister had made the decision, they just needed to support her silently.

"Great~ Then what is the method that sister just mentioned?"

Lingling kicked the sea water with her little feet, looking carefree. She raised her little face and asked Sophia curiously.

Sophia was silent now. She smiled at Lingling, handed her to Jeffrey, who had not yet transformed into a mermaid, and tried to swim behind the reef.

Jeremy stopped her, rubbed his sister's head, took out the bright red pearls he had prepared long ago, and smiled dotingly: "As a brother, how could I let my sister get hurt."

Sophia's movement of turning and walking suddenly stopped, as if she was nailed to the spot, and she looked at the three bright red pearls in Jeremy's hand in disbelief.

"Brother! You guys!"

Sophia raised her eyes and looked carefully at the expressions of her two brothers, only to find that their handsome faces were pale.

She felt like crying, and there was a hint of guilt in her voice: "When did you do this? I have no idea."

She had decided on her own to invite Lingling and the other two to go to the sea on the way, and had just mentioned it to Lingling in the carriage.

When did her two brothers do this without telling her?
