His team includes nearly a hundred people from Nanwan Auto and Nanwan Micro-Auto.
These people worked day and night for a full year and four months, and finally made a complete reform of this former Soviet gearbox.
Now the structure of this gearbox is more reasonable, which not only reduces the size and weight, but also increases the original torque.
This was not the only surprise they gave Wan Feng. The biggest surprise was that they also developed seven or eight small gearboxes, covering various sizes and torques. The smallest one was only two feet long and weighed dozens of kilograms.
However, these gearboxes are still at the drawing stage and are not very mature. They need to be improved through continuous testing on actual machines.
There is no rush for this. The 1.3L sedan supported by Nobuo Asada, the serious sedan of Nanwan Group, has just produced a prototype. There is no plan to use an automatic transmission in the next few years, so there is still time to polish these transmissions.
