Chapter 512: Draw your sword to help

Seeing that Wan Feng closed his eyes, Zhang Guolin stopped talking and stood up, took a shoulder bag from the luggage rack, took out two loaves of bread and handed one to the girl.

The girl hesitated for a long time but finally took the bread and took small bites of it with an expressionless face.

This carriage is probably closer to the rear, so there are fewer people in it than in the middle carriage. Apart from some people standing in the front connecting part, there are really not many people in the carriage.

Because it was already past twelve o'clock when Luan Feng and I returned last night, and we got up early in the morning, it was just after nine o'clock when sleepiness came over Wan Feng like waves.

Wan Feng hung the bag around his neck, wrapped the strap around his left arm, held the bag in both hands, and slowly fell asleep.

Wan Feng was awakened by a subtle sound at some point, but he didn't open his eyes. He heard a woman's faint voice and some rustling sounds in his ears.

Wan Feng opened his eyes a little and saw that the girl opposite him seemed to have an expression of shame and anger on her face, and her two hands seemed to be resisting something under the small table.

The small table between the seats is a long table, about two feet long, and there are a few bags on the table.

Zhang Guolin placed his right hand on the edge of the small table, his head resting on his arm, and he leaned over, almost squeezing the girl into the corner.

Wan Feng opened his eyes and looked at his watch.

It is now half past one in the morning and there is no sound in the carriage.

Wan Feng looked around and found that everyone was asleep.

When his eyes swept over the girl, he saw a look of pleading for help in her eyes.

Wan Feng lowered his head to look under the small table and saw Zhang Guolin's hand moving on the girl's thigh, and the girl was resisting with one hand.

Perhaps he noticed something, Zhang Guolin raised his head and saw Wan Feng's bright eyes.

"Haha, little brother, are you awake?" Zhang Guolin straightened up and put his hands away.

Wan Feng didn't respond to Zhang Guolin's question. Instead, he said something completely irrelevant: "So you two are not father and daughter."

Zhang Guolin was stunned for a moment before continuing with a grin, "Who said we're not father and daughter? This is my daughter, Yuan'er."

"Oh, if you are father and daughter, then you are an old beast. But then you are not a good person either. So, are you an old beast or an old rogue?"

Zhang Guolin's face changed: "How can you talk like that, little thing?"

Wan Feng sneered, "Don't think I didn't see what you did just now. You're not father and daughter at all. Judging from the girl's expression, you're not relatives, and it doesn't look like you're eloping. Anyway, if she eloped with an old man like you, she must have been licked in the head by a donkey. Excluding these two possibilities, there's only one possibility left: you either tricked her into coming here or kidnapped her. You must be a human trafficker, right?"

Zhang Guolin's eyes flashed with a fierce look: "Kid, if it's none of your business, just shut up and mind your own business! It's better to pretend to be dumb when you're out!"

"Haha, what I hate most in my life is human traffickers. You are such a beast that you can do such a heartless and worse thing than pigs and dogs!"

"Oh, a young brat is meddling in my business. I'm going to slap you so hard that your mother won't even recognize you." As he spoke, Zhang Guolin stretched out his hand and slapped Wan Feng in the face.

Wan Feng did not dodge. Before Zhang Guolin's slap landed on his face, he raised his right foot and kicked Zhang Guolin in the vital part of his lower body.

Zhang Guolin let out a howl and his body stiffened, then he suddenly covered the delta area with both hands.

Wan Feng didn't hesitate. After one kick, he kicked Zhang Guolin back to his seat with another kick.

The sound of the conflict between the two woke up the people nearby, and they looked at Zhang Guolin, who was covering his lower body, in confusion.

"Were you tricked into coming here by him?"

Wan Feng looked directly at the girl.

The girl nodded.

"Kid, what happened?" someone sitting next to me asked.

Wan Feng pointed at Zhang Guolin and said, "This guy is a human trafficker. He abducted this girl. Sister, tell me about your experience."

The girl stood up, tears welling in her eyes. "His name isn't Zhang Guolin, but I don't know his real name either. I was originally going to visit my aunt's house, but I got lost and ran into him. He said he would take me to my aunt's house, so I got tricked into getting on the train and running here."

Although there were many bad people in society in the 1980s, people's moral bottom line was still there. At that time, people were passionate about dealing with bad people and were not polite at all.

When someone heard that this guy was a human trafficker, he rolled up his sleeves and beat up his brother-in-law.

Three or four people kicked Zhang Guolin to the ground and started beating him.

Zhang Guolin was kicked so hard that his voice made a sound like a pig being slaughtered.

The train police were finally alarmed, and two police officers with guns came to this carriage.

"Stop it! Stand aside!"

Those who were beating up the bad guys stopped and stood aside.

One conductor stood behind with one hand on his holster, providing support, while another conductor came forward.

"What happened?"

Wan Feng pointed at Zhang Guolin, who was lying in the aisle with a bruised face and nose. "He's a human trafficker. He abducted this girl."

"Human traffickers? Is that the case, young lady?"

The girl nodded and said, "I don't know him at all, but he tricked me onto the train and brought me here."

The conductor lifted Zhang Guolin up with one hand and said, "Get up and follow us. Miss, you should also follow us. We need to do some research. Okay, let's go now."

The conductor escorted Zhang Guolin and the girl away.

The conductor didn't call Wan Feng, so Wan Feng didn't follow him. However, Wan Feng felt relieved after leaving the bad guy and the girl to the conductor.

This time Wan Feng sat in the girl's seat, and Wan Feng estimated that they could never come back.

"Little brother, I can't tell. You're so experienced at such a young age. You can spot a human trafficker."

"That's amazing! We traveled even further than you and them and didn't even notice. We always thought they were father and daughter."

"Little brother, you are so chivalrous and brave despite your young age!"

Wan Feng remained modest: "I discovered it by accident, nothing to brag about. If anyone discovered this, they wouldn't stand idly by."

About half an hour later, the flight attendant and the girl came back.

The flight attendant came to get Zhang Guolin's things, and the girl came to express her gratitude to Wan Feng.

"Thank you, little brother."

Wan Feng was depressed. Am I a little brother again?

"The police said they would take me home at the next major station and hand the bad guys over to the local police. My name is Liu Xiyuan. What's your name, little brother?"

At that time, people who did good deeds generally did not spare their lives, and Wan Feng did not reveal his name.

"Seeing injustice and helping others, no one will ignore it. This is nothing."

"No, you must tell me my name." Liu Xiyuan was quite firm.

Seeing that Liu Xiyuan was determined not to leave unless he told her, Wan Feng had no choice but to tell her his name.
