After finishing his work in the valley, Wan Feng staggered to the brigade with his hands behind his back. After entering the yard of the garment factory, he lay down outside the door of the garment factory office and looked inside.
Just as they saw Luan Feng staring out, the two of them started staring at each other.
The two of them stared at each other for a full minute before Luan Feng realized what had happened.
A cheer.
Five seconds later someone was dragged into the office.
"When did you come back?"
"Half past ten!"
Luan Feng looked up at the wall clock: half past one!
"You came back at 10:30 and only came to see me at 1:30? Tell me! Are you out there picking up some chick again?"
"What are you talking about? I came back home to say hello to the elders and then had dinner at home. After dinner, I went to the team to do some work. After finishing the work, I came to see you!"
"That's more like it. What are you doing in the team?"
While talking, Luan Feng peeled an apple and put it into Wan Feng's hand with a smile.
Wan Feng took a bite of his apple and said, "I bought a set of equipment in Changchun. I need to find a place to store it for the time being, so I rented the large warehouse near the river where the team is."
"The largest warehouse?"
Wan Feng nodded.
"What kind of equipment needs such a large warehouse?"
"Motorcycle production line, producing motorcycles."
"For the government?"
Wan Feng shook his head: "It's ours. I should be back in two years, and it's time to get something for myself."
"But doesn't the government own a motorcycle factory?"
"It's not the same thing. This one is big. If I don't explain it, you won't understand it. How's the factory?"
Talking about motorcycles with Luan Feng was as hopeless as talking about mathematics with cattle, so Wan Feng changed the subject.
