Chapter 1 Rebirth

(This is a parallel world; the place names and personal names mentioned in this article are unrelated to reality.)

Asia, northeastern Bactria, border primeval forests.

The vast and deep primeval forest has witnessed the changes of the world over the long years. The forest seems to have no boundaries, ancient and peaceful.

However, countless crises also exist.

Everywhere here, every day, a brutal and merciless battle unfolds, revealing the full extent of nature's laws of survival.

At this moment, deep in the jungle, an adult tigress is resting on the grass.

Its brownish-yellow, mottled fur trembled in the breeze, with occasional tiny leaves falling into it.

The tigress shook the fur off her neck, scattering the fallen leaves, and then continued to lie quietly. She remained gentle and serene until evening.

Beside the tigress were three two-month-old cubs. The cubs were very healthy and lively, and two of them were playing with each other.

Only one tiger cub lay listlessly and quietly beside its mother, its fluffy little body radiating an aura of utter despair.

Lin Qian died, and then came back to life.

He turned into a tiger cub.

He was once a diligent 996 office worker, but his long hours eventually brought him good fortune.

When he regained consciousness, he returned to this world as a ferocious beast cub.

Yes, when he discovered that he had been reborn as a tiger cub, he was mentally devastated.

He even initially planned to go on a hunger strike, wanting to end his life as a tiger.

However, after the tiger mother gently licked his body and persistently fed him breast milk time and time again,

He really liked it.

Newborn cubs crave food, and their hungry bodies simply cannot resist the urge to eat.

After subconsciously taking the first sip of tiger milk, Lin Qian promptly ate his fill.

She even let out a milky burp after eating!

It smells good, it really smells good.

He was secretly amazed by the sweetness of the breast milk and no longer had any thoughts of suicide.

He's alive again. It's so good to be alive.

So what if I turn into a tiger?

It's better to live a miserable life than to die a good death; life and death are never something to consider.

Besides, he has always been a person who cherishes his life, but he never expected that the accident would happen a step earlier than tomorrow.

Being reborn as a tiger and retaining his memories is a kind of luck for him. It's just that tiger life is short, which makes Lin Qian a little melancholy.

Tigers have a lifespan of only about 20 years, which is far too short compared to the human lifespan of 100 to 200 years.

However, Lin Qian was still satisfied. He had memories of his past life, so these 20 years were essentially free for him.

What could be more enjoyable than getting something for free?

After careful observation, he observed that the tiger mother had a large, round head, short, round ears, a black back with a white patch in the center, brown fur, a pale yellow back and sides, white fur around her eyebrows and cheeks, and a white belly.

Judging by its physique, it's definitely a Siberian tiger, the overlord of the mountains and forests.

The Siberian tiger is great! It's a Class I protected animal in China, a true king of beasts.

After such self-suggestion, Lin Qian finally accepted his identity as a tiger cub.

But he was still somewhat depressed because he had human thoughts!

The two tiger cubs of his own kind are silly and only know how to eat, drink, and play every day. What about him?

With my mind wandering and no one to talk to, how can I not feel depressed after living like this for a long time?

But when asked to play with the tiger cubs, he found it boring, like an adult playing with a child—it might be okay once or twice.

There are too many to really pique my interest.

So, he could only lie on the grass, bored out of his mind, and complain about his dull life as a tiger cub.

"Aww~"

The childish howl pulled Lin Qian back to her thoughts.

A tiger cub pounced on Lin Qian, eagerly inviting him to play.

This is his younger brother.

Lin Qian tacitly acknowledged himself as the eldest, and the other two as his younger brothers. He joked that if he could be the eldest brother, he certainly wouldn't be the younger brother.

As for whether it is true or not, who cares?

Anyway, Lin Qian doesn't remember her birth order, and even if she did, she would choose to forget it.

Seeing the cub's excited expression, Lin Qian helplessly rolled over, pushed the cub away with one paw, and then nimbly flipped over and climbed onto the tiger mother's back.

“Aww~”: Go play by yourself.

Lin Qian really loves golden shaded cats.

"Virtual cat petting" was once an effective way for him to relieve stress and fatigue.

But right now, he's really not in the mood.

Normally, as soon as Lin Qian climbed onto his mother's back, the cubs would stop chasing after him to play. But today, the cubs seemed unusually persistent, following him with great enthusiasm and pestering him relentlessly.

Lin Qian got annoyed by the pestering and slapped it with her little paw.

With its soft little paws, which don't yet possess much strength, the tiger cub wasn't afraid at all when it was photographed; instead, it became even more excited.

Aww! Come and play!

The tiger cub raised its fluffy little head and excitedly extended an invitation.

Upon seeing this, another tiger cub, who had been standing aside watching the commotion, immediately joined in.

Two energetic tiger cubs chased Lin Qian playfully, eventually chasing him so hard he ran all over the grass and climbed trees, his fluffy light yellow fur covered in grass and dust.

"Awooo~" The three tiger cubs were almost exhausted, and they all howled and ran towards their mother.

The tiger mom gently lowered her head and licked the children's little heads, then turned to the side, revealing her soft belly.

Lin Qian and the two tiger cubs immediately buried their heads in their milk with practiced ease, their movements perfectly synchronized.

The well-fed tiger cubs nestled comfortably in their mother's soft fur, the forest breeze rustling through the grass, creating a warm and tranquil scene.
