Chapter 119 Giant Rock Canyon

As soon as the red deer collapsed, the surrounding animals scattered immediately, except for two red deer that lingered nearby, unwilling to leave.

But when Tiger Dad walked over, the two deer quickly backed away.

These ordinary animals lack developed intelligence, and even if they possess emotions, they are not profound. They feel sadness at the life or death of their companions, but they also take it for granted.

One deer was barely enough to fill the bellies of the tiger family, so the tiger father didn't plan to hunt any more.

My main concern is that if I eat too much now, I'll go hungry later.

Now that we've lost touch with most of the herd, and this is all that's left, we must consider the journey ahead.

Tiger Dad's intelligence is already quite high, and with Lin Qian constantly talking to him these past few days and teaching him a lot of new knowledge, Tiger Dad's thinking is much more active and comprehensive than before.

With courage, Lin Qian drove the herd of beasts to the side of the cave, and then shared the deer meat.

Tiger Dad took the lead and growled at the cave, his voice filled with provocation.

The mother tiger and the tigress were on high alert. Although there was no smell of wild beasts in the cave, that did not mean there was no danger inside.

Now, the sisters' awareness of danger is no longer limited to what it used to be; this experience has made them more vigilant about unknown areas.

Tiger Dad listened to the echoes coming from the cave, waited a moment, and then stepped inside. Three minutes later, Tiger Dad leisurely walked out.

"Roar." It's safe; there are no other beasts.

The mother tiger and the tigress relaxed their tense muscles and rubbed against the father tiger's neck.

Lin Qian went inside and ran around. The cave was full of stone walls and rocks, with no trace of other animals living there, and not a single plant. It was as if it were a newly dug cave.

After confirming that there was no danger in the cave and that the surrounding area seemed quite safe, Lin Qian called out to Yong Qi and drove the herd of beasts out so they could find something to eat nearby.

The herd consisted of about thirty red deer, a dozen sika deer, a dozen wild boars, six wild goats, and eight roe deer.

The number was reduced by more than half, but they were all large herbivores, which made Lin Qian a little happier.

When they chose to dominate the herd, they were drawn to the abundance of deer in that area. One of the tigers' favorite foods was deer meat, and since they had enough strength, they naturally chose to conquer the herd they liked.

Having plenty of grain reserves is a good thing, but even live grain reserves need food. Lin Qian looked at the barren canyon with some worry; this area probably had very little vegetation...

However, seeing the herd of beasts digging enthusiastically in the snow and occasionally digging down to eat green branches and leaves, Lin Qian finally felt a little relieved. Whether there were many or not was one thing, but whether there were any at all was another matter.

At this time, finding plants to feed the herd would be a great achievement.

Lin Qian carefully examined the snow turned up by the beasts and looked at the ground that had been gnawed down to the roots, and sighed softly.

Sigh, this is the kind of situation where you'll be gone after just one meal.

It seems we can't stay here any longer, otherwise the herd of beasts will run out of food and something bad will happen sooner or later.

Looking at the dark sky and listening to the blizzard howling outside the canyon, Lin Qian felt extremely depressed.

He still found hunting in the forest difficult and arduous, and he longed for the full revival of spiritual energy.

But the spiritual revival has truly arrived, and life has become even harder...

"Cry—!" A loud cry interrupted Lin Qian's thoughts.

Lin Qian narrowed his eyes as he watched the flock of golden eagles fly in from outside the canyon.

"Roar—!!!" Get lost—!!!

Tiger Dad stood tall and proud on a boulder that had fallen onto the snow, his angry and powerful roar conveying a sense of threat.

The golden eagle did not fly directly into the canyon. It seemed to know that the canyon had already been occupied. With its huge golden wings flapping, it landed on a low boulder at the edge of the canyon.

"Cry!" The male golden eagle let out a cry, indicating that it meant no harm.

But Tiger Dad clearly didn't accept it. Seeing the flock of golden eagles entering the canyon one after another, Tiger Dad got angry!

"roar!!!"

A powerful sonic boom erupted with a tremendous tiger roar.

The falling snow was instantly swept up and headed straight for the golden eagle.

A strong sense of crisis washed over him, and the male golden eagle instantly took flight, narrowly avoiding the tiger father's roar attack.

But the enormous sound wave still crashed against the boulder where the golden eagle had stood, and a cracking sound suddenly arose in the wind and snow.

The flock of golden eagles took flight in fright, no longer daring to rest on the boulder.

The female golden eagle stared in shock at the enormous tiger below, yet she was reluctant to leave. This canyon was the best place to hide; they were too exhausted to fly in the raging storm...
