In the stepmother's view, a tiger must have the ability to be independent.
The two tigresses, who usually doted on their cubs, ignored them and the father tiger walked over with his tail tucked in.
"Hey kid, Daddy will bring you some."
Tiger Dad growled and turned to fetch a wicker basket from the pile of miscellaneous items nearby.
It understands its offspring; it had plenty of toys when it was a kitten, enough to fill half of its burrow.
Unfortunately, when it was kicked out to wander by its own father the spring of the year it came of age, it didn't have time to take it with it, and it missed it for a long time.
Courage happily rubs against the enormous tiger, which is about the size of an adult Asian elephant. The tiger father has grown the most, getting bigger with each breakthrough, and is now a real tiger.
When the tigers stand together, their sizes are clearly distinguishable. Next to the tiger father, Lin Qian, Yong Qi, and the cubs look like tigers, but if you look at them individually, each one looks like an adult tiger, even though they are only nine months old.
(Born in June, the current storyline is probably set in February, and it's still very cold due to climate change and a major snowstorm.)
Tiger Dad's current size: 3.5 meters tall at the head and shoulders, 5 meters long at the head and body, and 2.3 meters long at the tail.
The mother tiger and the stepmother tiger are quite similar, with a head-to-shoulder height of 2.8 meters, a head-body length of 4.3 meters, and a tail length of 1.8 meters.
Lin Qian and Yong Qi are about two sizes smaller than the big cats. The two brothers are 1.5 meters tall at the head and shoulders, 2.5 meters long at the head and body, and 1.3 meters long at the tail.
(I did a little data analysis, so please ignore any errors or inconsistencies... After all, the author only made changes based on basic data about Siberian tigers, so it's not very rigorous~)
After Yongqi tidied up his toys, the tiger slowly strode down the mountain.
Halfway there, the wind and snow subsided, and we could see the scenery below from the snow-capped mountains.
Looking out, there is a huge basin below the mountain, with a vast and flat plain in the middle and dense green forests all around.
A river, like a silver ribbon, flows through the middle of the basin, cutting through the grasslands and forests.
This is a land untouched by wind and snow, a home suitable for countless animals to live in!
When Lin Qian came out, he did notice that the location had changed, but he didn't expect it to be completely different!
While snowstorms raged on one side of the mountain, this side was bathed in sunshine and teeming with life.
Lin Qian didn't know how big or how high the snow mountain was, but he knew that his family no longer needed to travel a long way and not know where to return.
Looking at the emerald green color in the distance, the tiger dad, tiger mom, and stepmother all lit up their eyes. The three big cats raised their tiger heads and let out joyful tiger roars towards the basin.
They have found a new home!
The animals that had come down the mountain earlier shouted excitedly when they saw the basin, and then ran down the mountain without hesitation, heading towards the vibrant forest!
They need to build nests and claim their own new territory!
The golden pheasants chirped and took the lead in flying out. They did not live in forests and grasslands, but they would always choose the mountain peaks and cliffs near these places as their nests.
Originally, the golden pheasants lived alone, but this time, led by the male golden pheasant, the eight golden pheasants flew neatly to the basin, showing no intention of separating.
The male golden eagle has realized the importance of its clan. It wants to lead its companions to occupy a fertile forest as a hunting ground and to keep getting stronger!
Like the Golden Eagles, many animals live in groups. Most spirit beasts intentionally travel in pairs, and very few spirit beasts act alone.
However, the ordinary beasts have not changed much. Their bodies have become stronger than before, but their intelligence has not changed, and their habits have naturally remained primitive.
The deer herd entered a lush area and ran merrily across the plain.
Birds chirped as they entered the forest, searching for large trees to choose a place to build their nests.
Foxes, weasels, and other small animals also dashed into the bushes, searching for suitable places to live and build nests in the forest.
The spirit beasts walked slowly at the back, quietly watching the ordinary beasts rush off. Once the dust settled, the spirit beasts moved! They all set their sights on the areas with the most food!
Herbivorous spirit beasts unanimously headed towards the area with the most lush vegetation, while carnivorous beasts noted down the previous herds' destinations and marked the hunting grounds.
Of course, whether it's a good hunting ground or a lush forest, you need great strength to occupy it; the weak are not qualified to enjoy it.
Beasts are still beasts, even if they are more powerful, even if they possess magical abilities. What they follow in their bones and in their concepts is still the natural law of survival of the fittest.
The first group of animals to enter the basin had already begun their battle, but the tiger family, who had just reached the foot of the mountain, were not in a hurry at all, which was the confidence that came with their strength.
Tiger Dad even slowed down, waiting for the spirit beasts ahead to fight it out, then they could snatch whichever one they wanted, and incidentally kill a spirit beast for food—perfect.
Lin Qian said she liked it!
Tiger Mom and Stepmother had no objections; this method was good, effortless, and maximized benefits.
The chipmunk didn't offer any opinion; it just followed the tigers wherever they went. Having latched onto their coattails, the chipmunk was now set for life!
Upon entering the basin, the first area the tiger family trod into was the grassland. The lush green grass was a meter high, yet it showed no signs of age, and the vibrant green leaves were clearly newly grown.
Lin Qian rummaged through the grass roots, looking at the thin layer of ice and snow, and guessed that the snow in this basin had probably just melted. These plants were obviously newly grown, not just looking fresh and tender, but really tender.
Considering the eerie and mysterious nature of the snow-capped mountains, Lin Qian no longer found anything strange about them.
