At dawn, as the first rays of sunlight shone into the basin, a loud chirping sound rang out from the golden pheasant nest on the cliff.
Then two golden birds flew out, accompanied by the rising sun that turned from orange to gold, flying over patches of forest.
Hearing the loud cacophony, Lin Qian nudged the guy next to him. This guy always slept next to him and never seemed to mind the heat.
Fortunately, although it was very hot during the day, the temperature started to drop as soon as the sun went down. The temperature at night had been getting colder and colder these past few days, otherwise he wouldn't have been able to stand being in such a hot furnace.
The sun had just risen over the mountaintop, and the temperature under the sunlight was already rising rapidly. By the time the golden light fell on the waterfall, the temperature had reached around 30°C. Keep in mind, this was only a little before 6 a.m.
The tiger father was already standing majestically at the entrance of the cave, his authority as the tiger king firmly in his grasp.
The tiger mother and stepmother didn't react much to the arrival of their old friends. The two sisters were sitting next to the tiger father, yawning. If it weren't for their mates being polite and constantly giving them meaningful glances, the two sisters really wouldn't have wanted to come over. Wouldn't it be better to sleep in the den at this hour?
Since the temperature changed, they haven't been able to move around during the day, spending all their time indoors taking baths and sleeping. This has resulted in the tigers being incredibly energetic and active at night.
This is different from their previous lifestyle. Although they were mostly nocturnal before, they actually went out near dusk and returned to their nests around dawn.
Now it's different. The big cats only come out after the sun has disappeared and the temperature has dropped a bit, and then they stay out for most of the night. They don't rest immediately after they return from hunting.
Instead, they play by the waterfall, scratching tree trunks and sharpening their claws. They've got something to do. Even though they're all tigers now, most of their old habits haven't changed. They don't go back to their den to sleep until dawn.

So, at this hour, the tiger had just taken a nap. If it weren't for the fact that spirit beasts have good physical fitness, it would be strange if it didn't get angry after being disturbed so soon after falling asleep.
Lin Qian rubbed her sleepy eyes and was a little confused as she watched Jin Diao and his wife swaying towards her.
Jin Diao had said he was coming yesterday, but he really didn't expect him to come at this time! But since he was already here, Lin Qian didn't say anything, stood up, and walked over with lazy steps.
A tiger's gait on the grass looks elegant and leisurely. In contrast, the golden pheasants look quite comical, waddling like ducks and occasionally jumping up and down.
There's no way around it; when they're flying, they're the kings of the sky, but once they land, they're not much different from chickens and ducks...
Some birds of prey may be worse than chickens and ducks, hence the saying, "A fallen phoenix is no better than a chicken."
Tiger Dad went through the motions of greeting Xiong Jindiao, then ignored him, sprawled out on the grass, and relaxed.
Xiong Jin Diao was used to this and swayed to the side to find Lin Qian.
Despite its large size and strong appearance, the tiger king of this pack doesn't actually do anything; he's seen through everything.
The female Jin Diao, along with the other three level-two spirit beasts Jin Diao, flew up to a tree. They couldn't help with the discussion, so they just found a place to wait patiently.
Tiger Dad narrowed his eyes, feeling quite disgusted. These Jin Diao were just stupid and didn't understand anything. But I'm different. I have a son who uses his brain when he does things!
My king, all I need is to be majestic!
Tiger Dad proudly recalled his performance just now, nodded slightly, and roared, "Tiger performed better than Jin Diao!"
Well, I'll have to eat more for breakfast today!
Tiger Mom glanced at her spouse, looking at him like he was an idiot. Okay, this guy is just imagining things again.
Don't let Tiger Mom's seemingly lazy and inactive nature fool you; she's incredibly sharp-witted and can easily outsmart Tiger Dad.
However, the Tiger Queen wouldn't remind the Tiger Father that her cubs were the smartest, and it was best for them to handle these matters themselves, lest their foolish mates get involved and get themselves into trouble.
While the couple were lost in their own thoughts, the stepmother had already called the chipmunk out to set the table.
Yes, that's right, the tiger family's life is just that "exquisite"!
The chipmunk leaped onto the grass and released five deer with a flick of its paw. Three would normally have been enough, but since there were guests today, the chipmunk, following Lin Qian's instructions, was very quick and efficient.
The stepmother doesn't care about the numbers; she's the "chef," not responsible for these things!
The little mother skillfully used her paws to peel the skin, while the chipmunk placed a large rattan board beside her. It wasn't quite a rattan board, as it wasn't completely straight but rather curved, resembling a plate. However, the weaving technique wasn't very refined, so from a distance it looked like a square board.
After setting up the rattan planks, the little guy dashed into the woods in a flash.
A rustling sound rang out, and a plant appeared. The golden pheasants on the tree were startled, thinking it was some kind of mutated plant that could move.
Upon closer inspection, it turned out that the chipmunk was carrying a large bunch of branches and leaves. These leaves were incredibly wide, each a meter across, and the chipmunk skillfully placed them on the vine board.
By this time, the stepmother had finished skinning the deer and was cutting up the venison. First, the internal organs, the heart, and other delicious parts were taken out and placed one by one on a rattan board covered with leaves.
Then came deer thighs and other cuts; each deer was divided into dozens of pieces and displayed.
Even the deer antlers were cut into several pieces by the white tiger's sharp claws, which were then skillfully scraped and processed before being placed in a separate wicker basket.
The goldsmiths were dumbfounded. What was going on?
Tigers don't eat meat, but they like to cut off pieces of flesh for fun?
