Chapter 218 Spirit Crystal

The chipmunk sensed the old man's reluctance, raised its little head, and looked at the old man hopefully.

"Squeak." Can the mouse still come?

"Haha, of course. When the time is right, we'll meet again."

The old man chuckled and tapped the chipmunk's head with his fingertip. Then, with a wave of his hand, the chipmunk disappeared from the rock.

The chipmunk blinked, looking at the tightly closed palace gates with a hint of disappointment. Then, looking up, it found the place empty beside it and was instantly startled.

"Squeak!" Tiger King!

Two tigers the size of rats?!

The giant panda opened its eyes and looked over when it heard the chipmunk's call.

"Aww." They haven't come out yet.

Upon hearing this, the chipmunk understood. The little guy plopped down on the ground and stared intently at the palace gate.

The chipmunk sat down by the door and expertly reached for its "snack" to nibble on, but then froze in shock.

Squeak! Where did these come from?!

Looking at the large pile of crystal-clear stones in the space, the chipmunk was excited. The stones were radiating a rich spiritual energy.

The spiritual power contained in the small cluster of crystals on top is the power of space!

Without a second thought, the chipmunk instantly realized that the old man had given it to it. After all, only the old man could quietly put things into its space, and no one else would give it such a valuable stone so easily.

Thinking of the old man, the chipmunk jumped onto the gate with a thud, its little paws scratching at the palace door, looking extremely sad.

"Squeak!" The mouse will definitely come back!

The old man, noticing this, smiled with loving eyes and then slowly closed his eyes while sitting cross-legged.

The old man really liked the chipmunk. There were very few spirit beasts with spatial talents. He had been here for countless months and had only encountered a dozen or so inheritors. And there were even fewer as endearing as the chipmunk.

The old man originally wanted to give the chipmunk a map so it could find its way on its own, but seeing the little guy's adorable appearance, he felt a pang of regret and feared that the little guy might never return.

So the old man emptied his storage and filled it up for the chipmunk. As for the map, he'd deal with it when he saw the chipmunk again. Right now, the chipmunk was too weak to go to those places, in the old man's opinion.

With the spiritual energy of heaven and earth just beginning to rise, they did indeed still have a chance to meet; the old man was not trying to fool the chipmunk.

The chipmunk scratched at the door frame, then sat on the threshold, hugged a crystal-clear spirit crystal, and began to absorb it.
