Chapter 265 Repairing the Antarctic Spirit Vein

The Gadjah penguin is clumsy on land because its short legs and small wings make it difficult to maintain balance.

When walking, the Gadgoon penguin tucks its wings. But in the water, it is an agile swimmer, relying on a series of sounds and complex body movements to achieve different communication purposes.

Now, with stronger physiques and bodies better suited for swimming, the penguin colony in Gaza Island is even more formidable.

Once inside the sea, the penguin colony on Gaza Strip is so fast that even marine mammals cannot easily keep up with its speed.

In the deep sea near Antarctica, a group of marine mammals encountered a group of penguins from Gaza Strip who were moving forward.

The penguins charged forward fearlessly, their eyes sharp. Then, a surge of spiritual energy gathered into a sharp spear, speared by the penguin leader at the front, charging fearlessly toward the sea beast in front of them!

The sea creatures are equally fearless; they have no fear or apprehension in their eyes, only a bloodthirsty frenzy at the sight of living beings.

"roar!!!"

The roar of the sea monsters stirred up huge waves, and the silent penguin colony broke through the waves like arrows, heading straight ahead.

"boom!"

The sound of crashing waves was deafening, mixed with the deafening roars of countless sea creatures. The large force of sea creatures was wiped out by the penguin colony in a single attack.

The scattered sea creatures continued to converge, but before they could get close to the penguin colony, a barrage of fiery arrows suddenly rained down, instantly killing most of the scattered sea creatures.

"Ah Xia—Ah Ga—"

In the sky, the cries of flamingos rang out, the excited sounds of repelling the sea monsters.

Indeed, above the penguins advancing on the island ring were a flock of flamingos. Their flight positions were perfectly aligned with the penguin colony, one above and one below, combining attack and defense.

Clearly, these two distinct groups are moving together in a remarkably harmonious manner, heading towards Antarctica.

Flamingos (scientific name: *Phoenicopteridae*), also known as red flamingos, are a general term for six species of birds belonging to three genera in the family Phoenicopteridae. In the Galapagos Islands, the American flamingo and the Canary Island penguin happen to be neighbors.

Perhaps they had no connection before, but after the major earthquake, in the context of constant species change, they unexpectedly and logically became allies.

The common flamingo stands approximately 80-160 cm tall and weighs 2.5-3.5 kg. Its body shape and size resemble a stork; it has a short, thick beak with a protruding upper mandible that curves downwards, while the lower mandible is larger and groove-shaped; a long, curved neck; extremely long, bare legs with webbing between the three forward-facing toes, and a short, non-touching hind toe; moderately sized wings; a short tail; and white plumage with a rose tinge, black flight feathers, and deep red coverts, creating a striking and beautiful display.

Flamingos are predominantly crimson in color, especially the feathers at the base of their wings, which are glossy and resemble a blazing fire from a distance, hence their name.

However, red is not the flamingo's original plumage color. Instead, it is the astaxanthin that is transferred to the flamingo through its diet of small shrimp, small fish, algae, and plankton, which makes its originally white feathers appear bright red.

At the same time, the brighter the red color, the stronger the flamingo's physique, the easier it is to attract female flamingos, and the better the offspring will be.

This trait still exists in evolved flamingo populations, but they were not born with red plumage; it has now become a genetic gift.

This flock of flamingos all possess fire-attribute abilities. Their mutation is not an individual mutation, but an extremely rare collective mutation. Furthermore, they have gained intelligence during the mutation process. Instead of becoming mutated beasts, they are extremely close to spirit beasts. This group of special evolved beings should be called 'half-spirit beasts'.

Of course, there are still some real spirit beasts among the flamingo flock, although there are only two, and they are only level 3.

However, these two flamingo spirit beasts have extremely special abilities. They can enhance their own power through the blessing of their clan, and can even use the spiritual power transmitted from other flamingos without any obstacles.

In other words, as long as there are enough flamingos in the clan, these two spirit beasts will have almost inexhaustible spiritual power.

However, the most powerful aspect of the flamingo flock is not this, but their group skill. All flamingos are fire-attribute semi-spirit beasts, and their only attack skill is Fireball Arrow.

A single fireball arrow cannot cause much damage, but once 10 flamingos attack together, their spiritual energy trajectories will automatically synchronize, and the attack power of the fireball arrow will qualitatively change and triple.

The more flamingos that are synchronized, the higher the attack power of the fireball arrow will be, and so far there is no sign of an upper limit.

The current flamingo flock numbers only six or seven thousand. A combined attack from a hundred flamingos is enough to kill a mid-level sea beast in one blow, which shows how terrifying their combined attack power is.

Of course, because they are not true spirit beasts, the flamingo flock has very low spiritual energy reserves. Although their recovery speed is not slower than that of spirit beasts, their storage jars are only one-third the size of those of a level one spirit beast.

This is why flocks of flamingos cooperate with groups of penguins to cross the ocean together.

Although penguin colonies also possess collective special moves, they are not mutated groups like flamingo colonies. They are primarily composed of spirit beasts, and ordinary penguins cannot provide much assistance.

When traveling at sea, the chances of encountering marine mammals are high, so cooperating with flamingo flocks is undoubtedly the best option for penguin colonies to ensure the safety of their colony to the greatest extent possible.

At this moment, on the Antarctic glacier.

A surging vortex of spiritual energy suddenly appeared in the sky, with boundless spiritual energy surging forth.
