Chapter 42 Repelling the Wolves

Looking at the wary and fearful wolves, Tiger Mom felt disdain. These despicable and greedy creatures could only eke out a living under her majesty.

If you upset them, just drive them away and send them to live a hard life in the high mountains!

Tigers are hostile to wolves, and many wolves die tragically in the jaws of tigers every year. However, wolves dare not provoke tigers and are instead filled with fear of them.

This is an innate suppression; the reason why a king is a king is that he is an existence that cannot be easily shaken.

Despite their cunning and cooperative nature, wolves may seem formidable, but in reality, a wolf pack is utterly helpless against a tiger, with no one escaping their fate.

The wolves had clearly experienced the tiger mother's abilities before, and now, upon meeting her again and seeing her even more robust and powerful physique than before, they all felt a collective shiver run down their spines.

They were powerless against female tigers of normal weight and size in the past, and now that the female tigers have grown so much larger, they are even more outmatched!

The pack leader thought more deeply than the other wolves. With the ruler of this territory becoming more powerful, they would likely find it difficult to survive.

If it manages to escape this time, it must tell the queen when it returns to its tribe, and lead its people to find another place.

The wild boar, whose hind leg had been bitten off by the wolves, continued to howl in agony, knowing that its life had come to an end.

Whether facing wolves or tigers, it had no chance of escape.

The wolves were reluctant to accept their prey, but they dared not confront the majesty of the king, much less covet their prey in front of the tiger.

The tiger mother narrowed her eyes slightly, and a low, threatening growl slowly emanated from her, her pale yellow tiger eyes already locked onto the wolf pack leader.

When tigers encounter a pack of wolves, they can recognize the leader at a glance. Coupled with their innate strength and cautious hunting style, tigers naturally understand the principle of capturing the leader first.

Once a tiger decides to slaughter a wolf pack, its actions will be extremely decisive and swift. Its attack will always target the alpha wolf, leaving no chance for the pack.

Tiger Mom clearly had no intention of letting this small pack of wolves go; the majesty of the queen's return needed a baptism of blood.

"Awooo!!!"

With a roar, the tiger's striped body charged forward, aiming straight for the wolf's head!

"Waaaaah!!"

Panic-stricken howls rang out instantly; the wolf was no match for the attacking tiger.

The lead wolf dared not run away, knowing that the moment the tiger saw it, it would have no chance of escape.

All it could do was sacrifice its life to quell the tiger's rage and save its pack.

The lead wolf was unsurprisingly pounced on and knocked down by the tiger.

The tiger mother's sharp teeth accurately bit into the wolf's throat, swiftly and decisively ending the life of the wolf pack leader.

Once the tiger charges into the encirclement, the wolves instantly panic.

The wolf pack could only watch helplessly as their alpha wolf was killed.

Seeing their alpha wolf die in the tiger's jaws, the wolf pack instantly turned into a disorganized mob, scattering in all directions.

The tiger mother glanced up at the fleeing wolf, then ignored it, flicking her scarlet tongue at the foul-smelling wolf blood, which she didn't particularly like.

The tiger mother looked at the frightened male boar beside her with her eyes, let out a low growl, and stepped forward with satisfaction.

Having driven away a group of unwanted predators and even managed to snag a plump piece of prey for free, today's harvest is quite bountiful.

"howl!!"

The wild boar was terrified as the tiger's jaws suddenly descended upon it, but its howl was only half-finished.

Seeing the wolves being driven away, Lin Qian and Yong Qi immediately ran down the tree.

The two tiger cubs wagged their little tails and ran towards the fresh, plump wild boar, waiting for their mother to share the food.

The tiger mother affectionately nuzzled her cubs as a reward.

It was pleased that the tiger cubs were already capable of protecting themselves and were good at assessing situations.

With ease and skill, the tiger mother dug open the wild boar, and as always, she first gave the internal organs to her cubs.

Upon seeing the food, Yongqi immediately let out a loud groan and began to dig in.

Lin Qian was not surprised that the tiger mother easily repelled the wolf pack. Wild wolves rarely pose a threat to tigers, let alone a strong and powerful adult tiger like the tiger mother.

This was just a pack of six or seven wild wolves.

Even a medium to large wolf pack of a dozen or so wolves would not dare to provoke a lone adult tiger. In fact, the wolf pack would often retreat and let the adult tiger swagger away.

However, as the old saying goes, two fists can't beat four hands, and even a fierce tiger can't withstand a multitude of wolves.

If the wolf pack really reaches 30 or 40 people, the tiger certainly won't provoke them, but most of the time the wolf pack actually stays at around 7 to 15 people.

In nature, the food chain is structured like a pyramid, with each level of animals possessing exceptionally strong dominance. The suppression of weaker species by dominant species in the same area is very obvious and effective.

Even after millions of years of evolution, wolves still cannot cross this chasm and shake their status as the king of beasts.

In a clearing in the dense forest, a family of three tigers lay on the carcass of a wild boar, feasting on it. The blood flowing around their feet was somewhat bloody, yet also incredibly harmonious.

This is nature, cold-blooded and cruel yet tinged with warmth.

After eating their fill, the three tigers continued their journey with the remaining wild boar.

However, because the wild boar was so large, even the tiger mother had some difficulty, so she slowed down considerably.

Fortunately, the mother tiger and her two cubs do not have a fixed place to live. When they came across a relatively secluded corner, the mother tiger put down the wild boar meat, indicating that she would rest there.

Lin Qian and Yongqi naturally had no objections. The two children ran around nearby for a while, and then Lin Qian continued to exercise.

Although the exercise program did not significantly improve his physical condition, it was still effective, so Lin Qian naturally did not slack off.

The tiger mother had no objection to this. Her increasingly intelligent mind had vaguely realized that the cubs' excellent tree-climbing skills had improved rapidly precisely because of constant practice.

Two tiger cubs climbed a tree and chased each other across the grass.

The massive tigress lay sprawled on the grass, occasionally rolling over to cool off, looking every bit like an adorable orange tabby cat, showing none of the fierce ferocity she displayed when driving away the wolves.

"Bang bang bang!"

Lin Qian stretched out his tiger paws and practiced palm strikes with Yong Qi.

The two tiger cubs were evenly matched in strength and were having a great time taking pictures.

However, compared to Yonggan's sharp and responsive counterattack, Lin Qian's reaction was obviously slower.

However, Lin Qian's superior wisdom made up for this shortcoming. He would always make unexpected moves, and even make deceptive growls to distract Yong Qi.

Compared to her brother's "cunning," Courage's attacks are currently too straightforward. It seems Courage will need a long time to develop more attack methods and knowledge.

After practicing for a while, Lin Qian felt a bit tired and told Yong Qi to stop.
