Chapter 5 The Uninvited Guest

When the male tiger saw the mother tiger bite off the fruit, he immediately showed a hint of urgency and no longer cared about chasing the brown bear that had run away or the Amur leopard that was trying to steal the food.

"Awooo~", the male tiger stopped the mother tiger, indicating that he wanted to share the fruit.

Tiger Mom plucked out a bunch of fruit, then kept the rest tightly in her mouth, looking as if she would never give any more.

"Roar!" The male tiger roared angrily, its muscles bulging once more.

Tiger Mom was not to be outdone.

"Awooooo!"

Tiger mothers who raise cubs have terrible tempers.

The male tiger was panting heavily, clearly furious, but he paused for a moment when he caught a faint scent on the female tiger.

A flicker of surprise and delight flashed in the tiger's eyes, and the male tiger gave in.

The mighty head lowered, and the tiger mother stuck out her scarlet tongue to bite into a bunch of fruit that was hanging from her mouth.

A unique, fragrant aroma bursts in the mouth; with a flick of the tongue and a sharp bite, the fruit splits open in the mouth.

The sweet juice flowed slowly down its throat, as if seeping into its bloodstream, a sensation that intoxicated it.

The mother tiger smelled the tempting fragrance, and drool unconsciously dripped from the corner of her mouth, but seeing the male tiger's drooling expression, she closed her mouth tightly again.

If the male tiger really tries to snatch it, she won't be able to win.

The roe deer and deer on the ground emanated a fresh, bloody scent, and Tiger Mom's stomach began to rumble again, constantly urging her to eat.

The mother tiger cautiously passed the male tiger in front of her, then immediately turned and went to the roe deer's side, placing the fruit in her mouth under her body to protect it tightly.

After looking at it, Tiger Mom couldn't resist taking a bite, and half a bunch of fruit was gone in an instant.

The sweet fragrance of the fruit filled my mouth, and my pale yellow tiger eyes narrowed instantly. It was so delicious!

Less than half of the fruit remained. Tiger Mom swallowed hard. She was conflicted. The fruit was so delicious, and her instinctive craving was tempting her. She wanted to keep eating!

But when the mother tiger thought of her cubs, she immediately suppressed her craving for food. Her maternal instincts made her feel that she should take the fruit back for her cubs to eat.

At this moment, the male tiger approached again, growling, wanting to take another share of the spoils.

The fruit was simply too delicious for it to resist the craving.

The mother tiger's eyes immediately flashed with anger, and she roared as she drove the male tiger away.

Perhaps it was the deeply ingrained habits passed down through generations that led the male tiger, still wanting more, to subconsciously compromise when faced with a female tiger clearly raising cubs.

The mighty tiger turned around and began to tear into the male deer. The deer meat was the most delicious, and the fresh meat slightly satisfied the tiger's craving for fruit.

Tonight's battle has been too exhausting; now is the perfect time to replenish our energy.

When the mother tiger saw the male tiger eating venison, she couldn't resist tearing at the roe deer herself, her stomach already growling with hunger.

As for why she didn't choose the better-tasting male deer, it was because the tiger mother chose to back down. She hadn't hunted any of the food that was everywhere, and it was already very lucky to be able to find a bite of fresh food.

The best spoils should naturally be reserved for the tiger who has worked so hard.

Of course, if it were prey killed by other predators, the tiger mother would never be so "polite".

The roe deer meat tasted almost as good as the venison, and the tiger mom ate until she was completely full, looking at the remaining food with some regret.

Her mind, which was usually not good at thinking, was unusually clear at this moment. She put the fruit back in her mouth, her animal instincts telling her that the fruit was more important than the meat.

After eating her fill, Tiger Mom didn't linger. She grabbed the fruit and immediately ran towards the riverbank.

She had eaten and drunk her fill, and having been away from the tiger cubs for quite some time today, she couldn't wait to return to the tiger's den.

A tigress who has just become a mother tiger is always thinking about her cubs.

Tiger's Den.

Lin Qian looked at the pale light of dawn and was filled with worry; Tiger Mom had been gone all night.

In the past, no matter how late it was, Tiger Mom would always return to the tiger den before dawn, but now, it's already past daylight.

Exhausted, hungry, and sleepy, Lin Qian lay listlessly at the cave entrance, his round tiger head drooping, the stripes on his forehead seeming to have faded.

The little tiger cub strained its eyes, gazing expectantly into the jungle, hoping that the tall, familiar figure would appear.

The mother tiger didn't appear, but the two cubs did wake up.

The sleepy tiger cub opened its eyes and let out two howls.

"Stop crying, there's no milk to drink."

Exhausted, Lin Qian muttered to himself, "These two idiots do nothing but eat and sleep. They're really heartless."

After howling several times, the two furry cubs, seeing that their mother hadn't appeared, rushed out of the cave to find her, their heads still covered in tangled fur.

Lin Qian shook his head as he watched the two fluffy balls run off; they were certainly eager to find milk.

Sigh, he's starving too...

Lin Qian was not worried about the safety of the two tiger cubs. The cubs would not run out of the tiger den area, and they would not wander off if they could not find their mother on the surrounding grass.

As Lin Qian had predicted, the two tiger cubs couldn't find their mother on the grass, so they immediately lay down at the entrance of the den and started licking each other's fur.

Two fluffy tiger cubs snuggled together, licking each other's little bodies; they were incredibly cute.

Looking at this scene, Lin Qian felt his fatigue subside considerably.

Ah~ the cat-petting technique is so awesome!

As the dawn breeze blew by, Lin Qian caught a whiff of an unfamiliar and unusual scent. He instinctively tensed up, a sense of crisis creeping into his heart.

Is there danger?!

The two tiger cubs had already stood up with extreme vigilance, baring their teeth and growling at the bushes not far away, adopting a threatening and defensive posture.

The enemy is nearby!
