Chapter 84 Tiger Mom's Claws

Two tiger cubs were rolling on the ground, looking like they were fighting, but more like they were playing.

Both of them were howling fiercely, but they didn't actually show their claws.

The tiger's roars kept coming in from the cave entrance, and the chipmunks hiding at the bottom of the cave dared not show their faces.

After a brief confrontation with my brother, I was utterly disheartened; it was another day of being suppressed.

Having lost the fight, Courage had no choice but to reluctantly agree not to bother with the chipmunks.

Shaking off the dirt and grass clippings from his clothes, Lin Qian patted the little guy's head, satisfied.

It would have been better to do this earlier!

"Whoosh!" A huge sound came from the water, followed by the Tiger Mother's call.

Tiger Mom is back from hunting.

Courage suddenly cried out and went to find his mother, feeling extremely aggrieved.

The tiger mother's eyes lit up as she watched her cubs rushing towards her.

It's confirmed, the kid is running super fast now!

Lin Qian also saw the speed at which Yongqi ran out. The little guy had indeed undergone a change in speed!

Judging by appearances, Courage's speed is already comparable to Tiger Mom's.

Seeing the cub's speed, the tiger mother immediately changed her mind. She called out to Courage and led it to the pine thicket not far away.

There are five red pine trees by the pool, and pine cones are scattered all over the ground.

Although small animals like squirrels are not a threat to tigers, the tiger mother, being a seasoned wild animal, naturally knows how to catch such small animals.

Courage lay down with the tiger mother not far from the red pine bushes. The tiger mother growled, indicating that she would take him to catch a little squirrel to play with.

Courage immediately became interested. It liked toys mainly because it enjoyed the thrill of chasing. It was most fun to chase after the small animals after they were released.

Now that it was going to catch one itself, it was even more courageous and excited. Usually, these small animals were in the trees, and it had never caught one before.

Seeing her cub's eager expression, the tiger mother licked the little boy's head with satisfaction, then leisurely lay down on her side, remaining almost motionless.

The tiger mom is "playing dead" to lower the other animals' guard.

If there are any daring and curious individuals, they might even come closer to take a look.

When the tiger mother first left her mother, she used this trick to catch many small animals to fill her stomach. Later, as her hunting skills became more and more mature, she used this skill less and less.

Seeing this, Yongqi immediately started learning.

The tiger cub was extremely familiar with its mother's teaching methods; it could tell from her eyes that she was in "teaching" mode.

Lin Qian didn't follow. He knew that Tiger Mom had gone to catch small animals nearby with courage and wouldn't go too far.

His mind was still on the chipmunk. Tiger Head looked towards the small hole and saw that it was dark and quite deep.

He growled softly inside, signaling the chipmunk to come out quickly.

Lin Qian wasn't worried about the chipmunk running away; where could it have gone in such a short time?

Unless the chipmunk suddenly awakens the ability to burrow underground.

As soon as Lin Qian lay down, a small head cautiously peeked out from the hole.

The chipmunk glanced around cautiously and, seeing only a tiger, nimbly darted out and ran right up to Lin Qian.

"Squeak." Tiger King.

The cautious squeaking made the little guy seem incredibly pitiful.

Lin Qian yawned and then pointed to the cave entrance.

"Aww." You live here.

This time, the chipmunk understood completely.

Staying here?

Squeak... King Tiger is planning to store it as a food reserve!

Chipmunks have the skill of storing food, and they are very good at it!

So it immediately thought of this.

But looking at the enormous creature in front of it, the chipmunk dared not resist, nor could it refuse.

Its little body huddled tightly together, and it let out a frightened squeak to indicate that it understood.

Let it stay. As long as the tiger doesn't eat it now, it will always find a chance to escape!

The chipmunk clenched its little paws, still not giving up hope.

Lin Qian looked at the chipmunk and knew it wouldn't stay still.

Survival is a biological instinct, and it is inevitable that wild animals will flee.

If it were that easy for wild animals to obediently follow orders, there wouldn't be so many cases of wild animals being captured by humans and remaining untamed, preferring to starve to death rather than be domesticated and kept in captivity.

Moreover, this chipmunk is intelligent; it's much smarter than most wild animals and will definitely run away given the chance.

If they escape, it's questionable whether we can even catch them, let alone find them at all.

After all, the primeval forest is so vast, and chipmunks are always good at hiding.

It's so tiny, it's really hard to find one.

Lin Qian racked his brains, trying to think of a way to prevent the little guy from escaping...

After thinking for a while, Lin Qian couldn't come up with a conventional method, since humans have many convenient conditions but still can't tame wild animals.

It's impossible for a tiger with nothing to obey a chipmunk.

In that case, we can only try using spiritual sense.

His spiritual awareness is, after all, a mental ability; perhaps he can create a "master-servant contract" or something.

Thinking about it, Lin Qian felt a little lightheaded. If he could really make it, he could fly to the sky!

The chipmunk's heart skipped a beat as it watched the tiger's increasingly strange expression.

The tiger wouldn't want to eat it right now, would it?!

Before the chipmunk could think any further, Lin Qian had already reached out his tiger claws and grabbed it.

As its spiritual senses were activated, a sense of crisis, as if it were being watched, washed over the chipmunk once again, and the entire mouse tensed up instantly.

Three seconds later, Lin Qian immediately withdrew his spiritual sense.
