Chapter 86 Obedient Tiger

Tiger Dad had no idea that his cub was thinking so much. He lay on the grass, licking Courage's little head, feeling incredibly content.

Tiger Dad is now very skilled at taking care of his kids, and he's completely recovered from the initial chaos.

Courage raised its little head and kept rubbing against Tiger Dad's colorful fur, its little eyes soft and incredibly cute.

Lin Qian lay down beside Tiger Mom and glanced into the cave. He wasn't worried that the chipmunk had run away; his senses were still active.

It's really strange. I thought the little guy would probably run away when the other tigers went to watch their dad's performance, but he didn't.

Lin Qian didn't really understand the habits of these small animals, so he naturally didn't know that the chipmunk was too scared to show its face.

Tiger Dad is a true tiger who has been a king for many years. He is majestic and domineering, and the chipmunk was so frightened by the smell that it scurried back inside.

In the territory of the four tigers, the chipmunk was truly terrified and was now pitifully munching on a pine cone.

Fortunately, Lin Qian had it peel a bunch of pine cones for an experiment, otherwise the little guy would be hungry now.

The tiger family was already fast asleep when the sun rose.

If you look closely, you'll see that the two tigers' ears twitch intermittently, indicating that the two big cats are not in a deep sleep and remain alert.

Tigers can sleep for more than 16 hours a day, while adult tigers sleep even longer, up to 18 hours.

Tigers are highly alert and don't have long periods of deep sleep; most of their sleep time is spent in a light sleep state where they are constantly on guard.

So don't be fooled by the fact that Tiger Mom is always sleeping; she's either in a light sleep or just dozing off.

Adult tigers lie on the ground and don't move simply to conserve energy. After all, getting a good meal in the wild requires a lot of effort and hardship.

Of course, tigers don't sleep for more than ten hours at a time; they mostly sleep intermittently.

Lin Qian and Yong Qi, being little tigers, woke up in less than two hours on several occasions.

Yongqi especially loves to grab Tiger Dad's tail and play with it. As soon as he wakes up, he runs towards Tiger Dad.

The tiger dad remained unmoved, but his son was really making a fuss.

The tiger opened its eyes slightly and flicked its tail with a hint of helplessness.

Son, let your dad have some peace and quiet!

Unexpectedly, not only did Courage fail to grasp Tiger Dad's meaning, but it also became even more excited.

Seeing that the tiger dad was already eager to try, he raised his hind leg, seemingly about to launch his "kicking cub" leg technique.

Lin Qian rubbed her forehead and quickly summoned courage to go out and play.

Upon hearing this, Yongqi immediately dropped his big tail and ran to Lin Qian's side in a flash.

"Aww!" Brother, grab the toy!

The little one wants a toy again.

Lin Qian was somewhat helpless. The squirrel he had just caught yesterday had already filled the little guy's belly. The rate of consumption was really too fast!

But what could he do? He could only take the tiger cubs and go find the rabbit hole!

To be honest, the two brothers have practically hollowed out all the rabbit burrows in the area, and the rabbits are being persecuted far too frequently.

But Lin Qian had no choice. He didn't want to either, but rabbits were the most likely creatures to be encountered near the pond.

Although Courage has lost much of his interest in rabbits, he's still happy to have something to play with.

As soon as it ran out, without Lin Qian's command, the little guy lowered its head and began sniffing the surrounding scents, searching earnestly. Clearly, the little tiger cub was already extremely skilled at finding rabbits.

When Courage returned carrying a small gray rabbit, it was already noon.

The tiger mother woke up, got up, dragged the deer out of the pond, and immediately started eating it.

Tiger Mom's concerns were correct; the dog had indeed entered a state of being prone to hunger again.

I ate a full meal in the early hours of the morning, and now I'm hungry again after only half a day. However, this time the hunger is not as intense as last time. Although I'm hungry, it's still within a tolerable range.

The tiger father had already gone out hunting, so it got hungry earlier, probably because of the different energy expenditure.

Lin Qian and Yong Qi weren't too hungry yet.

Well, this definitely has nothing to do with them having just eaten a fat rabbit outside!

Tiger Mom's appetite has far exceeded normal levels, almost doubling her previous intake.

After all, the mother tiger's body had grown even larger, and she was now even more imposing than a normal male tiger.

Lin Qian licked his paws, looking at the deer that had been almost completely eaten, and felt a pang of emotion.

With such an ever-increasing appetite, if the animals don't undergo a second growth spurt and gain more weight, these carnivorous beasts might actually starve to death.

No matter how nature changes, it can always generate a set of rules that can be repeated in cycles.

Whether it's animals or intelligent humans who consider themselves the masters, under the true rules of nature, they are all in the same position.

People always say, "We must protect the environment, protect certain wild species, and protect our planet."

In reality, if you think about it carefully, which of these so-called protections isn't ultimately for the benefit of humanity itself?

In reality, the rise and fall of human civilization depends on whether the planet's species are diverse and thriving or withered and lifeless.

Hearing this has no effect on the planet itself.

Whether it's the natural environment or human-made weapons of mass destruction.

It probably doesn't care at all.

Of course, none of this seems to matter to a tiger.

Lin Qian was somewhat annoyed to find that the chipmunk was still hiding in its burrow.

Is this little thing planning to just stay hidden inside forever?

Lin Qian quickly dismissed the thought that the chipmunk was dead after a brief moment of sensing; the energy emanating from the mark was still there, indicating that it was alive and well.

Lin Qian glanced at the cave entrance for a while, then stopped paying attention.
