Chapter 30 Go to jail

The captain took immediate action, strangled the man, and woke Lin Chaoyun up.

As soon as she opened her eyes and saw everyone surrounding her, Lin Chaoyun knew something was wrong.

"Lin Chaoyun, do you want to set off this fire?"

The captain came straight to the point and threw the flint and oil can in front of her.

Lin Chaoyun knew that she could never admit it, so she covered her leg and cried out in pain.

But her legs really hurt, and she felt as if they were broken by a beam.

Seeing Lin Chaoyun's condition, the captain had no choice but to send her to get her leg treated first.

It happened that Professor Song broke his hand when he fell, so at daybreak they were sent to the county hospital.

The clinic's facilities are limited, and they can't treat broken bones like this.

At dawn the next day, the team leader personally drove a ox cart and took Professor Song and Lin Chaoyun to the county town.

The captain sent the two to the hospital and hurried to the coal mine to find Lin Chaoyang.

After all, Lin Chaoyun is his sister, so he has to be informed of such a big thing.

After hearing this, Uncle Guo quickly called Lin Chaoyang over.

When the captain saw Lin Chaoyang, he felt so upset that he wanted to vent.

"Yangzi, your Xiaoyun is afraid that she will not be able to do her job as captain anymore!"

"I don't know what she was thinking. She actually set fire to Professor Song and then ran in to save him!"

"In the end, she failed to save the person and fell down, with her leg broken by the beam. If we hadn't put out the fire in time, she would have died!"

Lin Chaoyang was shocked. Could it be that Professor Song was burned to death by Lin Chaoyun?

The captain quickly shook his head, "No, no, Teacher Song jumped out from the back window and broke his hand. He is also in the hospital now."

Lin Chaoyang was relieved. If Professor Song was killed by Lin Chaoyun, it would be a great sin.

"Regarding this matter, no matter what, you are her eldest brother, so I still have to come to you. Fortunately, nothing happened. What if something happened?"

The captain was really frightened when he thought about this. If Teacher Song had an accident, it would be two lives. How could she afford the compensation!

Lin Chaoyang also felt that Lin Chaoyun was simply insane, actually setting fire to the house!

Although he didn't know why Lin Chaoyun set the fire, she must have her own goals and would do anything to achieve them!

Lin Chaoyang followed the captain all the way to the hospital, unable to suppress his anger.

Lin Chaoyun was born selfish and cruel, but he didn't expect that she would dare to kill and burn people!

When they arrived at the hospital, Lin Chaoyang took the initiative to pay the medical expenses.

The captain just shook his head when he saw this, Yoko is such a good child, why are her younger brothers and sisters such bad people?

The younger brother steals things and the younger sister sets fire to people. What a scary family!

After paying the medical bills, Lin Chaoyang and the team leader went directly to the orthopedic ward.

Professor Song suffered a broken arm and Lin Chaoyun suffered a comminuted fracture of his left leg, and both were hospitalized.

Lin Chaoyang walked into the ward and gave Lin Chaoyun two loud slaps.

Lin Chaoyun was injured and unable to move. She could only cover her face and curse.

Every time she cursed, Lin Chaoyang slapped her. After several slaps, she finally calmed down.

"Now you dare to commit murder and arson? Do you think your life is too long?"

"If you think your life is too long, just find a rope and hang yourself, or jump into the river. You can die however you want, but don't hurt others!"

"Don't think you're okay now. When your leg is healed, you'll go to jail!"

Lin Chaoyang really couldn't bear it this time, he must make Lin Chaoyun pay the price.

"You set the fire but no one was burned! Why are you sending you to jail?"

Lin Chaoyun knew very well how hard-hearted Lin Chaoyang was. If he said he would send her to jail, he would really do it.

She absolutely cannot go to jail. She still has to take the college entrance examination and live a superior life in the future. How can she go to jail?

You know, at this time, more emphasis is placed on your background. If you become a labor camp prisoner, you won't even have the chance to get food rations!

When she is released from prison, she will have to do the heaviest work on the farm and go to the province for reform. That will be a miserable life!

But she was also thankful that the burning of the house did not cause any serious consequences and the police would not pursue her.

"If someone had really been burned to death, do you think you could still lie here? You would have been shot long ago!"

Lin Chaoyang took a long breath and said, "When you are well, I will personally take you to the police station. Don't try any other tricks."

After saying that, Lin Chaoyang turned around and walked away, intending to ask Lin Chaoyun when he could leave the hospital.

He really didn't want to delay it any longer, lest she cause any trouble.

As soon as he entered the door, he met the doctor who had just examined Lin Chaoyun.

"You are Lin Chaoyun's family, right? I am here to inform you that her leg can be operated on tomorrow morning."

Lin Chaoyang really didn't want to give her the money for the operation, but at this point, he had no choice but to give it.

"Okay, doctor, just make the arrangements."

The doctor nodded and added, "Let me give you a shot of prevention first. With her leg, the prognosis may be a little problematic."

Lin Chaoyang frowned, "What's the problem?"

The doctor considered it for a moment before explaining, "He may have a slight limp, and won't be able to walk fast or run, but he won't be able to see it if he walks slowly."

Because Lin Chaoyun suffered a comminuted fracture, even if the bones were put back together, there might be sequelae.

The doctor pointed out this problem in advance to avoid them coming back to cause trouble if he became lame in the future.

Lin Chaoyang nodded to indicate that he understood, then turned around and opened the door of the ward.

He didn't mind telling Lin Chaoyun the news. It was her own fault.

"The doctor just told you that your leg injury is too serious and you might become lame in the future."

Lin Chaoyun was stunned, staring at Lin Chaoyang, finding it difficult to digest and understand what he said.

"From now on, you can't run or jump. You can only walk slowly, otherwise everyone will think you are a cripple."

Lin Chaoyun suddenly screamed, picked up a pillow and threw it at Lin Chaoyang.

"It's no use smashing it. You asked for it. If you hadn't burned the house, how could your leg bones have been smashed by the beams?"

Lin Chaoyun was really devastated now. What would she do if she became a cripple in the future?

Lin Chaoyang looked at her coldly as she pounded the bed hysterically, as if he was looking at a stranger.

"The price for this murder and arson is that you will not only become a labor camp prisoner, but also be a cripple for the rest of your life."

After hearing this, Lin Chaoyun became even more crazy. He climbed out of bed, hopping on one foot and ran out.

Lin Chaoyang didn't even have time to hold her back, and just watched her rush into the next ward.

Professor Song was sitting on the bed with his arm in a sling. His injuries were not serious and he could be discharged from the hospital after another day of observation.

Lin Chaoyun rushed in and started swearing at Professor Song.
