As Tuo Qi was running, he sensed danger approaching and instinctively lunged forward, only to fall to the ground. The curved blade then pierced straight into the chest of one of the guards.
The guard stared wide-eyed, looking down at the curved blade embedded in his chest.
He was the first one to rush over and pledge his loyalty! How could this happen? What happened?
With a hint of confusion and resentment, the guard fell straight backward, his eyes still wide open, as if he died with his eyes wide open.

Upon seeing this, Tuo Qi, who had just gotten up, immediately roared at the guards surrounding him:
"What are you all standing there for? Chase after them! I want to see them alive or dead!!"
The group of guards then realized what was happening. A few were left to protect Tuoqi, while the rest chased after the two assassins in the direction they had fled.

"Bring me that sword!"
"promise!"
A guard obeyed the order, stepped forward, grasped the hilt of the knife, and pulled it from his former comrade.
"Is this a Hunnic scimitar?"
Seeing the blood-stained scimitar in the guard's hand, Tuo Qi's face immediately turned extremely gloomy.
Before long, the group of guards who had gone to give chase also hurriedly returned. Judging from their appearance, they must have returned empty-handed.
Where are they??
"Your Majesty... I couldn't catch up with them... they got away!"
Seeing the guards turn back, Tuo Qi flew into a rage and roared once more:
"You bunch of useless trash!! What use are you to me?"
