A nobleman, enraged that his lowly soldiers disobeyed his orders, broke away from his guards and charged into the battlefield, slashing at a soldier in the back.
"Ah~!"
The Xiongnu soldier who was slashed felt a sharp pain in his back and glanced back at the nobleman.
The nobleman ignored the danger and immediately slashed the soldier's throat with his knife, causing a gush of blood to spurt out.
"you.....?"
The soldier clutched his throat, then fell off his horse with a look of utter despair in his eyes.
Upon witnessing this unexpected turn of events, the surrounding soldiers immediately fell silent, all staring wide-eyed at the nobleman with disbelief and a hint of anger in their eyes.
"Hmph, damned thing!"
The nobleman snorted coldly, then looked at the surrounding soldiers with a sinister expression, pointed to the corpses of the soldiers lying on the ground, and shouted sharply:
"You've all seen this clearly. This is the consequence of disobeying orders. None of those Jie people can be killed anymore. Capture them all alive!"
The surrounding Xiongnu soldiers, however, remained staring blankly at the nobleman, their anger growing even stronger.
Seeing this, the nobleman said coldly, "Hmm? Are you all mute? Why aren't you speaking?"
A young Hun soldier, his bloodshot eyes fixed on the nobleman, gritted his teeth and asked, "He was clearly killing the enemy, why did you kill him?"
"Those who disobey will die. What...? Do you want to die too?"
The nobleman looked at the young soldier with a cold expression, his words full of threat.
Seeing the nobleman's appearance, the surrounding soldiers were filled with rage.
The enemy was resisting with weapons, but the nobles were shouting and demanding to capture them alive. They killed the enemy, but were then hacked to death by the nobles.
All of this made the already resentful Xiongnu soldiers unable to tolerate it any longer.
