An Yuan'er pulled the blanket up to cover half of her face.
She murmured, "An Yuan'er is asleep and is talking in her sleep."
An Yuan'er was still filled with the embarrassment from earlier that day. She was easily embarrassed, and when she saw Yi Chenli, the blush that had finally faded from her cheeks returned.
She peeked out with one eye and saw that Yi Chenli had changed into clean clothes. She breathed a sigh of relief.
The blanket was suddenly and carefully lifted, revealing a hot water bottle on her lower abdomen.
"Hold me tight, and it won't hurt so much."
Immediately afterwards, Yi Chenli brought over a bowl of medicine.
An Yuan'er instinctively frowned, afraid of the bitterness.
"Brown sugar ginger tea, sweet, not bitter."
An Yuan'er took a sip, and sure enough, it wasn't bitter. After drinking it, the ginger flavor warmed her stomach, and she felt comfortable all over. An Yuan'er stretched.
Just after stretching, Yi Chenli massaged An Yuan'er's sore legs, and An Yuan'er groaned comfortably.
Such a handsome young man providing such gentle service, with such skillful kneading and rubbing techniques, it was simply a royal experience.
The little girl's brows finally stopped furrowing, and she stopped clutching her stomach. Yi Chenli knew she was comfortable, so he warmed her feet and covered her with the blanket again.
"Go to sleep."
Having done so much, Yi Chenli didn't claim any credit and turned to leave.
An Yuan'er turned and grabbed his hand, suddenly asking curiously, "Yi Chenli, why do you know so much? Do you have another girl you're close to outside?"
Yi Chenli's expression darkened. Could An Yuan'er spout any more nonsense?
He was with her every day, so where would other girls come from?
In reality, there wasn't even a single female mosquito.
This was also the first time Yi Chenli had done these things. He was worried that he wouldn't do a good job, but seeing that An Yuan'er was so comfortable that she was talking nonsense, he thought that he should have done a pretty good job.
Remembering the doctor's advice, I realized that girls at this age are prone to emotional outbursts and should not be provoked.
Yi Chenli murmured in a relaxed voice, "There's no one else, just a round little one."
An Yuan'er was so happy that her braids almost flew up, but she said arrogantly, "That's more like it."
"You left while I was asleep?"
Yi Chenli was unusually easy to talk to today, and he fulfilled all of An Yuan'er's wishes.
"Okay, then you can go to sleep."
An Yuan'er closed her eyes with a sweet smile on her lips.
She thought to herself with delight: her Ali was indeed the best boy; her judgment was right. Gentle, considerate, handsome, wealthy, and most importantly, devoted to her.
Yi Chenli's only flaw is his leg, which has been injured for many years. Considering what we saw of Lan Jingtang today, if he really is a descendant of the Lan family, as An Yuan'er believes, that would be wonderful.
Let's wait until we confirm his identity before telling Yi Chenli. This news is too important; An Yuan'er dares not be careless and doesn't want to disappoint Yi Chenli.
Once An Yuan'er was fast asleep, Yi Chenli quietly left her room.
After returning to the next room, Yi Chenli received a letter from Lao Yi.
The gentle and patient expression on his face had vanished instantly. He didn't know what was written in the letter, but Yi Chenli's eyes turned cold in a flash.
The letter turned to ashes at Yi Chenli's fingertips.
In the darkness of night, the boy hurriedly went out.

This unassuming inn has unexpected guests today.
These people were all lurking in the shadows. A young man in a white wheelchair pushed open the door and entered the room in the east tier.
This room was the one An Yuan'er had arranged for Lan Jingtang to stay in.
