Chapter Sixteen is still acceptable

Throughout the year, An Yuan'er's memories of her past life began to become fragmented. She could only vaguely recall some major events, while the minor details had been completely forgotten.

However, An Yuan'er's little notebook was already filled with warnings for herself, thinking that she would not be as confused as she was in her previous life.

During the entire year from when An Yuan'er was five to six years old, although she rarely went out, she created many paintings.

The first picture depicts An Yuan'er recovering from a serious illness, hosting a banquet for everyone at An Chaoli's house. An Yuan'er is smiling brightly in the picture, clearly having recovered.

An Yuan'er had someone deliver the painting to Chenyang Palace, along with a note:

[The lovely fairy has recovered from her illness. Although she cannot leave, I will not forget my promise to you. Please appreciate this painting, Your Highness.]

An Yuan'er waited anxiously at home, rubbing her hands together and looking out the door, but no reply came. After waiting for three days, she finally received an envelope containing Yi Chenli's reply, which was still only two words: "Acceptable".

An Yuan'er lay on the bed, throwing a tantrum and rolling around, angrily saying, "Would it kill you to say a few more words! Humph~~ I'll draw you pictures from now on, I'll be a chubby little pig."

You can open the envelope a little more, and a piece of milk candy will fall out, with a faint milky aroma.

"You think you can get rid of me with just one piece of candy? Humph~~~ I'm not that easy to fool."

The candy was packaged very cutely, and An Yuan'er, with a try-it-out mentality, put the candy in her mouth.

The moment it hit my mouth, my eyes lit up. The rich milky aroma and sweet milky flavor enveloped my entire mouth!

"So sweet! So delicious!"

An Yuan'er likes to eat sweet snacks. Eating sweet things always gives her a sense of happiness. After a piece of candy melts in her mouth, she is still a little unsatisfied.

With a somersault, An Yuan'er rolled off the bed and sat down at the table to draw.

She muttered to herself, "I didn't start drawing for you; I was just cultivating my mind."

The little girl wore a pink gauze dress with delicate peach blossoms embroidered on the sleeves, and a white blouse with silver thread over it. She had her hair styled in double buns, with two hair ribbons fluttering playfully.

She sat obediently on the table and picked up a paintbrush. After painting a few times, An Yuan'er had gotten used to the feel of the paintbrush, and now she could paint with ease and fluency.

The second painting depicts a swing. An Yuan'er was bored at home, so An Chaoli built her a swing under a big tree. An Yuan'er always liked to swing on it, her pink hair ribbon fluttering back and forth as she swung very high.

An Yuan'er attached a note as usual.

[The adorable fairy has grown taller, and her painting skills have become increasingly impressive. Please, Your Highness, appraise this painting.]

In this painting, An Yuan'er cleverly depicted herself as incredibly cute and beautiful, thinking she would surely receive praise. As usual, she received a reply envelope three days later.

An Yuan'er eagerly opened the letter, and as usual, there were only two big characters on it: "Acceptable".

Not hearing any praise, An Yuan'er complained, "Boring men, is it so hard for you to admit that a fairy is beautiful?"

After venting her frustrations, An Yuan'er started rummaging through the envelope again.

This time, the envelope contained a strawberry-flavored toffee.

The strawberry flavor filled my mouth, even sweeter than the previous piece of candy.

"For the sake of the delicious candy, I'll forgive that boring man for now."

Gradually, a third painting, a fourth painting, and more and more paintings appeared.

An Yuan'er's family had written several decent little notes, which were stacked up to be quite thick.
