Chapter Fifty-Six: Right and Justified

An Yuan'er noticed that the Emperor seemed to still have some hesitation about her.

Although she was somewhat afraid of the Emperor, she still tried her best to express her opinion: "Yuan'er is willing to be the Sixth Prince's study companion. Yuan'er will study hard and will not embarrass the Sixth Prince."

The Emperor was somewhat puzzled. This young girl was at an age when she should be timid, while his son was cold and unapproachable. What was it about Yi Chenli that the young girl saw in him?

"Little girl, Li'er has a leg disability, aren't you afraid?"

An Yuan'er shook her head vigorously: "I'm not afraid. The Emperor doesn't know, although the Sixth Prince looks fierce, he is actually very gentle and considerate. He will give Yuan'er her favorite candy and patiently explain things to her. It's just that everyone is always frightened by his legs, but how is it his fault that his legs are broken? It is precisely because his legs are not good that he needs to give him more and more love..."

An Yuan'er talked incessantly about how good Yi Chenli was; if the Emperor hadn't told her to stop, she could have continued talking until tomorrow.

Unbeknownst to An Yuan'er, Yi Chenli listened quietly to her story, his gaze softening unconsciously.

Even a little girl knows to treat everyone equally, regardless of whether they are disabled. Hearing An Yuan'er's words, the Emperor felt a pang of shame. After Yi Chenli became disabled, he had indeed neglected this son for a long time.

However, the emperor, who is supreme, will never admit his mistakes.

Since that was the case, the Emperor was unwilling to be the villain, so he immediately ordered: "From this day forward, you will serve as the Sixth Prince's study companion."

An Yuan'er's happiness was written all over her face. She said excitedly, "This commoner thanks Your Majesty."

After much commotion, the Emperor was exhausted, so An Yuan'er and Yi Chenli withdrew.

Stepping outside and breathing in the fresh air of the Imperial Study, An Yuan'er was still somewhat incredulous.

The Emperor actually believed Yi Chenli and punished the Empress.

And she got her wish and became Yi Chenli's study companion, so they could study together.

The Emperor began to value the Sixth Prince, and no one in the palace would look down on him anymore.

Everything is moving in a positive direction.

An Yuan'er skipped and jumped, unable to hide her joy.

"Round and chubby," Yi Chenli called out to her, staring at her intently, lost in thought.

"What's wrong?"

"Yi Chenli, from now on you can study with this little fairy, aren't you happy?"

Yi Chenli did not answer An Yuan'er's question, but said, "An Yuan'er, the Emperor's decree is a sacred order. If you want to regret it later, you will never have another chance."

Because of his own selfish motives, Yi Chenli would bring up this matter before the Emperor so that he could legitimately keep An Yuan'er by his side.

An Yuan'er blurted out, "Yi Chenli, are you going to bully me in the future? Otherwise, why would I regret it?"

An Yuan'er smiled and repeated, "Being a fairy means you'll never regret it."

The girl naively thought so highly of him. Yi Chenli thought that An Yuan'er must be the least intelligent girl, spending all her time with such a boring person like him and still being so happy.

Just laughing like an idiot!

Foolish, stupid, and clumsy, yet somehow...

It's almost irresistible.

"Ah!" An Yuan'er exclaimed, realizing something.

She turned around and was about to tear off Yi Chenli's clothes.

Inside the palace, in a public place, even though An Yuan'er was still young, only a bold girl like Yuan Gun Gun would dare to rip a boy's clothes like that.

Yi Chenli dodged her touch and said seriously, "Stand still and raise your hands."
